LET’S TALK QUOKKA’S 🐻

Here’s 3 fun facts about our adorable furry friends over at Rottnest Island 🌴

1. Quokkas can only be found on Rottnest Island and Bald Island in Australia - they were once found exclusively on the mainland of Western Australia but only a small group of quokkas can be located here now. In present day, the majority of quokkas can be seen offshore on Rottnest Island near Perth or Bald Island, near Albany 🐻🌴

2. Quokkas are known to live an average of 10 to 15 years 🕰 Studies have shown that the average life expectancy of the quokkas in the wild is 10 to 15 years

3. Quokkas are known as the ‘world’s happiest animal’ for their smile - Quokkas are playful, adorable and known for being cute as a button, which has recently landed them the title of ‘world’s happiest animal.’ These small creatures are covered with short, fluffy brown-grey fur, have little round ears, small black noses and the most contagious and photoshoot-ready smiles. 😀

Boasting 17ft of spacious, bright and awesome interior living space. Sleeping up to 6 people with one double bed, two bunk beds and a comfy large seating area which also converts into another small double bed! Our caravan is perfect for your WA family get aways 🌊 ⛺️ 🌞 🥩 🏖

Fully equipped with all of the cutlery, utensils and equipment that you will need for an enjoyable caravanning holiday experience. Ample storage space including 3 wardrobes, plenty of drawers, cupboards and boxes for under the beds to store all of your belongings.

We also provide an easy- to- set up awning with mesh walls to keep the bugs out which also gives you additional living and entertainment space outside day & night. Also with our compliments are camp chairs, outdoor floor mat, festoon lights and an outside table for those magical nights under the magnificent WA sky.

For your comfort also included in your rental is a selection of fans for those hot summer days!

Some of the amentities that you will find in our caravan are a fridge, cooking facilities , kettle and toaster and a great selection of tea’s, coffee and sugar as well as cleaning products and hand sanitizer for your use.

Enjoy your relaxed evenings under the stars with a box full of family game classics and packs of playing cards to keep the kids content for hours on end, we also include plenty of sport equipment for those fun family games in the sun!

INTRO price of only $99 per night during the week (out of school holidays) and only $125 per night on weekends (Fri, Sat & Sun nights) during the school and public holidays there is a $10 surcharge per night

A $1000 bond is required on collection along with a copy of photo ID & credit card details as security. Bonds will be refunded within 48 hours upon return in good, clean condition.

A minimum deposit of 1 nights hire secures your date out of school holidays and a minimum of a 2 night deposit is required for school holiday period bookings.

Attention to anyone with a booking for a Princess cruise 😀

It appears that the link/ form that Princess provided to customers to apply for a refund is having some issues. Princess are aware of this and I am still awaiting further clarification and guidance from Princess themselves on how to proceed.

I understand this is frustrating but as you can imagine they are inundated during this time so we do have to be patient.

You can also call them by contacting 1300 551 853 but do expect long waiting times.

Hopefully we can all get back to travelling very soon ⭐️
