If anyone knows evacuees who are in need of a room, we have a spare bedroom available here in Mission. It's not a lot, but might be help for someone. Unfortunately can't take any pets as ours dogs are not friendly with other animals 😢 but it would work for a single person, couple or a couple with a child.

Campfires that are a half-metre high by a half-metre wide or smaller, or cooking stoves that use gas, propane, or briquettes are still allowed.

Anyone lighting a campfire must maintain a fireguard by removing flammable debris from around the campfire area and have a hand tool or at least eight litres of water available nearby to properly extinguish the fire.

Had a question what is there to do with kids in Sunshine Valley?
Well, there are playgrounds, outdoor heated pool, games room, there will be mini splash water park. :) amazing trails for bicycles, quads, dirt bikes, hiking. Also a small lake to kayak and fish :)
Sunshine valley is like going back to the 90s, when kids play outside by themselves, everyone is super friendly and it's very safe!
