WHOA, BIG DISNEY PARKS NEWS x 2!🤯
🧿Disney announced that the new Monsters Inc. Land coming to a hollywood Studios will replace the existing Muppet Courtyard and Muppets 3D attraction. Not a total surprise as we knew this was a possibility.
But the big bombshell….the Muppets are on the move!

🎸Rock ‘N’ Roler Coaster will finally be rethemed and will feature the Muppets!

“The Muppets will be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, teaming up with some of music’s biggest stars for a rockin’ music festival,” Disney revealed on the Disney Parks Blog.

No dates have been announced.

🌐Wowza! Take a look at the Tomorrow Tower Suite on the ✨NEW✨ Disney Treasure! The EPCOT theming is on point here! Actual park entrance music plays when you are about to enter the suite.🤯

This 2000 sq ft. suite sleeps up to 8 with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Includes a full kitchen with staff. Windows in living area can be frosted for privacy or shade.

I'm so intrigued by all the artwork in this suite!

The Christmas tree is up! Somehow the Wilderness Lodge lobby seems to be the grandest but also the coziest during the holidays, doesn't it? Definitely a favorite resort stop this time of year!

Eeek! It's finally time to check out the long-awaited, dark and moody Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Treasure! (I've been so excited for this!)

The Parlor "story" (because Disney always has a story) features the preparation for a ship Captain's funeral after his mysterious death while preparing to marry his shipwrecked bride - and there's some familiar ghosts attending. But the ghosts have problems materializing, so in steps Madame Leota.

Fans will find other familiar haunts - the Hitchhiking ghosts, a nod to the Grandfather Clock, the Hatbox Ghost and of course, the iconic staring purple wallpaper.

There's plenty of special effects and easter eggs for the true Mansion Historians...
-The famous Flying Dutchman ship portrait (featured in the park ride and originally conceived by Imagineer Marc Davis) is displayed above the fireplace and changes from a sailing ship to a storm-battered, sinking one when lightning strikes.
-Longtime Disney Imagineer Rolly Crump envisioned a tank of dead aquatic creatures as a creepy Mansion inclusion of some kind years ago. That vision comes to "life" as a centerpiece of the Parlor.
-Crump was also instrumental to the development of the original Haunted Mansion. The bust in the Parlor is a tribute to him, with a partially melted face, a long time homage to the Candle Man, a figure from Rolly's never realized Museum of the Weird attraction.

As a Haunted Mansion fan and Disney history nerd myself, Disney really knocked it out of the park here (pun fully intended)! This is what I am most excited to see in person on the Disney Treasure!

✨DISNEY TREASURE STATEROOMS, FIRST LOOK!✨ There are 1,246 staterooms on the Disney Treasure and 70% of them have verandahs, like the two shown below.

The 2 rooms below are both Deluxe OceanView rooms with Verandah. The first, Luca themed room is a Family OceanView, which means it sleeps five. You can see the configuration of three single beds down in the back of the room! The second room, with the Nemo themed artwork, shows what a typical room in this category looks like during the day, with the sofa not converted to a bed. Your stateroom host, or Mousekeeper, will turn down those single beds for you each night and tick them away each morning, so you have some extra space during the day!

Rooms themes vary by deck and may also feature Encanto, Aladdin, Pocahontas or Up!

✨Disney knows how to put on a show! ✨ The gorgeous Disney Treasure was christened into the DCL fleet in New York CIty last night with an amazing drone show featuring the characters and stories that are featured on the ship! Three giant hitchhiking ghosts and a sailing Moana (among others) literally lit up the sky over the Hudson River. How cool is that?!

Back on land, Jordin Sparks sang “Live the Adventure” - the Disney Treasure song and anthem and Disney executives Bob Iger and Josh D'Amaro were on hand for some news and announcements.

The show ended with a giant drone champagne bottle christening the vessel before lighting up the sky with the Disney Treasure logo. Definitely an iconic Disney moment!

The Disney Treasure has arrived in Port Canaveral! Mickey and Minnie were on hand this morning to greet the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet! MickeyTravels friend Serena at livingbydisney shared some amazing pictures with us from this morning!

The Treasure features nods to Disney parks classics like the Haunted Mansion Parlor and the Jungle Cruise Lounge, along with new fan favorites like the Moana stage show and a Coco-themed main dining room. I really can’t wait to experience this ship!

Who else needs a voyage on the Treasure in 2025?!
