My only post for today.
🇺🇸🇺🇸6 years ago, my mom and I got to visit and tour the museum. I have no photos from inside the museum out of respect for those lost but here are few others from my travels. I may not remember much about that day because I was so young but walking through the museum was humbling. I remember passing a fire truck in the museum that was on scene and in front was a staff member sharing her story of being inside the other tower. Truly a memorable experience! If you have not visited, I would highly recommend for a bucket list item! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Relaxing on a cruise! 🚢

I once was told that having vacations in the US do not bring as much relaxation as traveling outside of the US. I tested this statement out when Taylor and I went to Mexico. I did not purchase a data plan for our phones. Best decision ever! That vacation was truly relaxing! I could not answer the phone, review emails or even respond to work emails. I’m already planning for Cabo next year. Let me know if you want to join.

My favorite island destination… 🇵🇷San Juan, Puerto Rico! 🏝️🇵🇷

I have been here numerous times but each time I come back with a new place I got to explore. San Juan is at times over looked but they have so much to offer! First, you do not need a passport to travel here. Second, there is plenty of beach to go around. Maybe the beach is not your cup of tea then walk the walls inside and out that protect the island. Afterwards you can take a little break and fly a kite with locals. If you are more of the explorer, then you can chose to hike the rainforest and cool of by swimming under a waterfall or zip over the tree tops through the rain forest. If you like to take a little risk, there is a beach that is one of the top 10 most dangerous beaches due to currents. Lastly, make time to enjoy the local cuisine! 🐟🏝️🇵🇷

Can I share my favorite vacation memory? 🎄Beautiful Kansas City, Missouri 🎄

Growing up my parents agreed that presents were not needed to make Christmas so we traveled. Our #1 destination, Kansas City! Not only was it a few hours away from home or home of our favorite NFL team, but it also provided the perfect scene to make memories. During the month of August, the Christmas lights are being hung and tested to be lighted the weekend after Thanksgiving. ALL the little shops light up with beautiful colors. 🎄We would take in the scene while taking a horse drawn carriage. One year our little girl dreams came true to take Cinderella’s carriage through downtown! 👑Kansas City has so much to offer all year around, but Christmas time the most perfect time! Enjoy ice skating under the lights, strolling down Main Street with local shopping, take a seat at the Cheesecake Factory to watch all the shoppers pass by, hop on a horse drawn carriage and stay inside to play games to laugh the night away. If you need a few kid friendly locations, Kansas City offers LegoLand, aquarium, or make a card for family at the Hallmark kids Kaleidoscope!
