What an epic 27 days adventurous and fun trip it was.
Namibia has so much to offer , again top class accommodations , quality foodies , top services , friendly and very helpfull staff , most beautiful and stunning scenery and again and again top wildlife encounters , beautiful nightskies and some coolest of the beaten track routes , many old and new meetings along the route , some very special days.
Thanks to Patrick ,who has been with us the 10th time since 2005 , thank you so much for the continuously support and these beautiful pictures , hope to see you all in 2023 again.
Wow , eventually it worked out after almost 3 years of postponing.
We are super super happy to be back on the road again.

The first time since 2011 , that the Swakopriver coming down full force again , towards the Atlantic ocean. Namibia is receiving normal to above normal rains at the moment, and many areas which haven't received any good rains , if at all in the last couple of years , some areas up to 9 years are blessed with it in 2022 , Namibians are full of joy with the recent rains and it's always a welcome sight.
Like this event , almost like a big party, because it's happening only occasionally.
Places like the Namib and especially Erongo and the Damaraland/Kaokoland region have receive very decent rains in the last 2 weeks.
Thus , it would make Namibia a superb travel destination , as we expect the rains to continue, we advise people with caution when travelling through this beautiful country of ours , but as from April/Mai till later of the year , we sincerly advise you to come and see for yourself what it's all about when we get rains like 2021/2022...wildlife numbers will pickup again , birldife at the moment is absolute beautiful, as the scenery, and also the much much smaller ones , like butterflies, lizzards , insects and a lot of of other highly intressting creatures.

If travelling to Namibia , don't forget about the little ones , as we have huge numbers of wildlife, the big 5 , desert dwellers , and lots more , always be on the lookout for birds , insects , reptiles and tortoises aswell , it's a fascinating world out there....🇳🇦🇳🇦🇳🇦❤🤞🏼👍🏼🙏🏽

Some pics from our September Tour 2021 with the most loviest guest, some small notes and a very great thanks to Bea & Uschi who again and again supported us over the years , and to the people working in the office , Trixi.
It's been 18 long months , and finally things are changing for the better , and hopefully they will stay like this for all of us.
18 months wait , and to be honest, we were all quiet amazed how well things still actually worked and working on most Lodges.
We do understand because of certain things that it was and still is very difficult for most to order the right amount of food and drinks etc etc , because one day you might have a booking and the other day it's cancelled , but nonetheless accept for a few , most food , most service , friendly and efficient, all smiles, have been average , good to very excellent. Rooms were in very good conditions, clean , tidy and really in a very well looked after shape , and that after almost 18 months without guests.
Unfortunately I didn't had any good camara with me , only my Galaxy Samsung phone , but the other thing which amazed me and our guests, still after years of droughts, poaching , recent bushfires and all , the wildlife encounters, we haven't really visited any National Parks , wanted to , Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park , but was still closed from Namibian Side , there had been many , just on the normal routes we took , some stays on gamefarms and Guestfarms, but mostly on the road , from herds of springbok, oryx , ostriches , mountain zebras , steenbokkies , warthogs , jackals , klipspringers and astonishingly big herds of kudus , the smaller ones , truly amazing.
As you all can see , yes we do like our next to the road picnics and also a very important part and traditional thing , our sundowners.
Overall , i think we as Namibians doing an outstanding and absolute fantastic job to keep this industry going , big thumps up to all Lodgeowners , guides , rangers on Lodges , waitresses and waiters , barman/ ladies , maintenance guys, laundry ladies and all , each and everyone working in this so beautiful industry, without you it wouldn't be half what it is now.
We truly so live in one of the most amazing countries in the world.
We as a team are very very thankful, full of appreciation, happy and forever grateful for the Tours slowly coming in and hope sooner then later that most guides will be on the road again.

In den letzden Tagen waren wir für ein paar Tage im wunderschönen Erongo Gebirge , hier ein Teil der " little ones " die wir zur Gesicht bekamen und mein guter Kollege zum fotografieren bekam , viele die wir oft nich so beachten , oder beachten wollen , einfach ein einmaliges Erlebnis, es geht nich nur immer um die " Big 5 " die Riesen Herden von Antilopen oder Zebras , oder Landschaft , die Menschen die wir antreffen , gewiss sind diese Faktoren hoch intresannt , aber was manchmal wirklich phenomenal ist , die Reptilienwelt , genau so wie die Vogelwelt , wo.man Stunden wandern und beobachten kann , werft ein kurzen Einblick , eventuell hat sich der eine oder andere Name schon wieder geändert , bitte sollten ihr es fest stellen , meldet es uns , bei einigen waren wir uns nich ganz sicher , schaut mal rein und vielleicht findet ihr die Namen oder wisst sie...geniesst einfach die Bilder mit Beschhreibungen....bis zum nächsten Mal dann

No better time to come visit beautiful Namibia right now , yes there are restrictions, but that doesn't mean , no more travel , our Corona numbers falling drastically, from almost 120 daily Inzidenz, they hovering around 70 , still high , but with hope on the horizon and with vaccinations on the roll , yes even proven that some work already for the new variant , the next few months looking positive, with a rainy season like 2021 , few travelers yet, wide open spaces , the desert coming back to life , teeming with wildlife , flowers , birdlife , and water reservoirs filling up quickly , already overflowing , this could be once a lifetime experience again , unfortunately spectacles like the Lilies, a 750 hectare pan which needs to be filled ip to 30 cm of water , it normally takes a week for the Lilies to grow and then just about a week to flower , and it's all over , these Lilies have gone sleeping again till the next good rainy season.....
