I do enjoy a model village no idea why but there is something very peaceful about them. If you get a chance visit this one in Beaconsfield just outside London opened back in 1929

Always a treat to go behind the glass at the Churchill War Rooms thankfully someone had the foresight to leave a few of the rooms pretty much untouched. A fascinating insight into World War Twos history and a must visit for those interested in this period of national history

Nothing better than a cool crisp morning stroll through Green Park on the way to start another tour and it being a Friday of course the Changing of the Guard Ceremony was observed!!

One of my favourite places in London is the Royal Albert Hall if you visit London please check their website for upcoming event. Yesterday I was lucky enough to see Holst Planets absolutely stunning performance!!

Norwich is a wonderful city a stroll through the arcade takes you into the town square. It seems every time you turn a corner a stunning church it there. The rivers that run through Norwich give plenty of of opportunity for fantastic bridges and of course the nice pubs.

We also loved the Cosy Club here in Norwich in the old provincial bank building!!

While I do love living and working in London it’s nice to get away for a few days so I’m off!!!

My destination is one of my favourites to visit only 1 hour and 45 minutes from Liverpool Street Station is wonderful Norwich!!

Always nice to visit Buckingham Palace there is simply no other place like it. Also this year had the pleasure of touring the East Wing and looking down the mall as the changing of the guard took place. Sadly no photographs permitted in the palace so just me looking back at the West wing of the Palace.

And a shout out to Marie our tour guide such a good tour!!!

A fantastic looking building full of history

Big Ben as seen from the river! 🕰️🇬🇧

It cost £80 million to renovate the 181 clock tower and it was worth every penny in our books! It really looks marvellous in the summer sun.

I'm sure we don't need to tell our followers that the tower isn't actually called Big Ben - which is officially named the Elizabeth Tower - but rather refers to the great bell inside the tower! 🔔

I didn’t quite realise how much effort wild gardens can be but Glenarm Castle County Antrim certainly has it down. Pay them a visit next time you are in Northern Ireland great cafe fantastic shops!!
