Great news coming from American Airlines today as they plan to part ways with their CCO after his drive to lead passengers to book direct in lieu of travel agencies, a strategy which angered many and included gutting their sales department. In February, American had also announced they would limit ways AAdvantage members could earn miles when booking through agencies. That decision has been reversed because of the disruption it would create for consumers. 👏🏼👏🏼
