This great news !

Previously, when searching for dining you were only able to see a certain number of reservations based on a time selected. Example: if you select 9 AM, you would only first see reservations from from 9:00-11:00 AM. You'd have to select a different time frame to see anything before 9 AM or after 11 AM.

NOW you'll be able to see ALL available reservations for a meal sitting, such as breakfast.

Many families book all their dinning 60 days ahead of their reservations and wake up at 5:30 AM EST to secure their bookings.

Alternatively.. you can use a travel advisor like myself, a complimentary service, and has us take the stress away!

Later this year at the Walt Disney World Resort, one of our most iconic specters will set up residence in the Haunted Mansion of Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom Park. The Hatbox Ghost will appear to guests as they pass the Endless Hallway, welcoming himself inside from the swinging wake in the cemetery and grinning at the Doom Buggies as they set off deeper into the mansion. 🕯🕸 Guests will soon see temporary barriers materialize as we await his apparition. http://di.sn/6185PXUiW

What's the best transportation to/from/around Disney World?

The Disney World area provides convenient options for transportation. It's been so easy to travel solo with my twins!

Airport Transportation

Disney used to offer complimentary travel to & from Orlando's international airport (MCO) named Magical Express which is no longer available. However, the service IS available through the third-party service Mears Connect. Mears Connect is Magical Express without the Disney brand. Same pickup location - same service - same buses - and I am convinced the same drivers. The cost is around $33 per RT per Adult and $25 RT per child. There are also similar services such as Sunshine Flyer - but I've heard so/so reviews. You do not need a car seat.

You can also Uber/Lyft prices range from $35-70 each way depending on vehicle & time. Lastly, typical airport car services (some of which have car seats).

I have used ALL these options, I'd be happy to share my experience.

Disney World Transportation

Depending on your resort you can use the bus, skyliner, monorail, ferry, or simply walk to any destination on Disney property. Depending on the situation, I'd highly suggest you Uber/Lyft! Rideshare costs are typically $10-20 for anywhere around Disney Property. You can take Uber/Lyft to ALL parks- they have designated spots for them! You can also request rides with TWO car seats. Disney has their own rideshare service called Minnie Vans!

Car Rentals
Car Rentals (Alamo & National) are available on the property - in the event you'd like to do a day trip ..such as the Florida Beaches.

⭐️Deluxe Studio vs Standard Room

💥Follower Question

In this post, I'll be covering the general differences between Deluxe Studio Rooms & Stanard Rooms at Deluxe resorts. (PSA: Rooms at Disney Resorts vary, so it's best to discuss specifically what would be ideal for your family when booking a resort/room).

1.Resort

Generally speaking, all Deluxe Studios are within the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) buildings. You do not need to be a DVC member to book these rooms, Disney allocates rooms for general bookings.

Standard Room are available at all non-DVC resorts.

2. Bathrooms

You will find some studios have a separate bathtub & shower & even two toliets!

Standard Rooms have a shower or shower/bath combo with a double sink & one toilet.

3. Kitchenettes

Studios will have kitchenettes. These typically include a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, small refrigerator (with freezer at times), plates/utensils, etc.

Standard Rooms, you will need to request a microwave if available. There is a beverage cooler - not a true refrigerator.

4. Price

These rooms can be priced either the same or you'll see a slight price increase for a studio.

5. BedType

Okay, so this is the most controversial issue when it comes to studios. A typical Studio will have a queen and a sofa sleeper. HOWEVER, Disney has been quietly renovating many of these studios with the desired comfortable Murphy bed. However, some studios have two true beds, like Old Key West and Resort Studios at Grand Floridan.

Standard Rooms will have two queens or one king if requested.

Which one to pick? That absolutely depends on your family needs and I'd be happy to talk you through it for your next booking!

⭐️ Disney's Grand Floridan Resort & Spa ⭐️

Photos from our March stay in the newly renovated Mary Poppins themed room. For this trip we did a split stay between the Grand Floridan and Beach Club Resort. I absolutely love splitting my time between the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Area. It makes planning easier and less hectic with my Littles.

Also- Did you know Disney will move your luggage from one resort/room to the next!!!
