It has been a deliciously adventurous day! We were able to join the boarding group and ride Remy's Ratatouille Adventure! It was very fun shrinking down to the size of a rat to join Remy in the kitchen!

Magic is Back at Disneyland Resort! Theme Parks Plan to Reopen on April 30!

After being closed for more than one year, magic is finally returning to the Disneyland Resort theme parks! Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park are planning to officially reopen to the public on April 30, with limited capacity.

You’ll soon be welcomed back to enjoy unforgettable attractions, see beloved Disney friends, shop for the latest merchandise, savor the world-famous food and drinks, capture fun photos and cherish special magical moments!

I'm so excited to see all the new additions to the parks! Who else it excited for this "EARidescent" celebration?!

Beginning Oct. 1, Walt Disney World Resort will throw “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” in honor of the 50th anniversary! You’ll want to keep an eye out for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, who will have sparkling new looks for the celebration. As hosts of the event, they’ll be dressed for the occasion in custom-made fashions of EARidescent fabric with gold highlights!

2022 Walt Disney World® Resort vacation packages are now available to book!

We know many of you are looking to book future vacations, so today we’re giving our guests a head start on planning as you may now book 2022 Walt Disney World® Resort vacation packages.

Now here come the fine print 😉

There are some resort hotels that are not, as of this time, scheduled for reopening yet. We will continue to evaluate the situation and educate our guests when more locations open. Disney Dining packages remain unavailable at this time.

Normal terms and conditions for final payments, cancelations and change fees will apply for all 2022 vacation bookings.

Booking a 2022 package does not guarantee theme park availability, and we will still need to make your park reservations for arrivals starting in 2022. We should book your park reservations immediately after linking their 2022 vacation package in the My Disney Experience app.

As previously shared, Disney will no longer offer Disney’s Magical Express service for airport transportation, with arrivals Jan. 1, 2022. Complimentary transportation options – such as buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner – will continue to be available within Walt Disney World Resort for Disney Resort hotel guests, including to and from all four theme parks. But don’t despair we have a wonderful driver ready to pick up your family with a short grocery stop, if you decide to drive or have a car please note the resorts do charge for parking.

This is such exciting news!! Festival of the Lion King is one of my favorite shows at Disney World!

We are thrilled to be starting the process of bringing back to work more singers, dancers, technicians and other cast members, from one of the most popular shows at Walt Disney World Resort. Expected this summer, the Harambe Theatre at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park will host that fan-favorite troupe of musical storytellers, along with Simba and his friends, in a celebration of the incomparable “Festival of the Lion King.”

When it returns, “Festival of the Lion King” will be presented in a modified format to be mindful of the current environment. There will be adjustments to the show on stage and backstage, including updates to choreography to allow for appropriate physical distancing. We’ll also adjust how the audience is seated, in line with other theater-based experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. 

So, who’s ready to clap along with “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” thrill to the fire knife performance during “Be Prepared,” swoon over “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?” and take in the joyous “Circle of Life?” It’s going to be an amazing celebration!
