Thank you to the friend who allowed me to book the property for her bachelorette weekend! If you’re like me & enjoy booking trips for yourself or your family, this Travel Tip Tuesday is for you!

I have always booked my own trips in attempt to keep my travel costs low and know I was getting the best rate on places to stay. What I did not know was that the entire time I was doing my own bookings - I could have been earning some extra income!!! I KNOW 🤦🏻‍♀️ I could’ve been paid commission on every hotel I stayed in, flight I took, cruise I went on, & the list goes on. Truly nothing worse than money left on the table imo.

Now that I know how to earn commission on my own bookings, I’m never going back!!

If you don’t enjoy booking things, lmk, and I’ll take of that for you! But if you do - lmk that too. I’ll make sure you don’t miss out anymore either! 🫶🏼

To make Trips + Travels more accessible, I wanted a way to allow clients to be able to pay for their adventures over time. The further out your trip is from booking would mean additional time to pay for the trip. (Think: Next year’s trip to Disney, cruise, or all-inclusive resort stay ☀️)

If you’re looking to get tickets to one of the recently released concert dates and will need a place to stay for the trip, I am your girl.

I recommend booking now with a refundable rate before the hotels nearby stadiums sell out. If you don’t get tickets, you have the option to cancel the hotel/stay. Not sure which dates you’ll get? Book for a longer stay and modify the booking later. 🫶🏼

Welcome to my first Travel Tip Tuesday!

When I first looked into using a travel agent, I did not immediately go for it, because I assumed there was an agent fee that I would have to pay. I am pretty much always on a budget, and I would rather pay for experiences versus fees any day.  As I started looking into becoming an agent myself, I looked into fees/etc., and realized fees are not required!

As an agent, I could absolutely add in an additional agent fee, but I want my services to be accessible. Because I want Trips + Travels to be accessible, I’ve made the decision to not charge friends and family an additional fee.

Welcome to Trips + Travels with Sierra Janway!

We love to explore over here, so if that’s you, you’ve come to the right place. To me, Trips + Travels are similar, but different, and I feel the need to explain…

✨ Trips: A quick getaway, break, or recharge. Something 1-3 nights. Fly or drive to your favorite spot & enjoy yourself for a few days!

✨ Travels: This is a longer adventure! 4+ nights of fun. This could be a cruise, long road trip, backpacking trip, or whatever you want it to be.

Both are so special to me and serve different purposes for different people. I can plan and book your entire day, or I can leave days open & make sure you have reservations at your favorite restaurant or place to stay in the area you visit. Activity levels are up to you, and I’ll always meet you where you and your crew are at while this is being created.
