The "Mad Kiwis" (Paul, Nick, Brent, Dan & Landon) landed in Sumatra and were eventually herded like stray cats onto the Nyata for two weeks of forecasted pumping Indian Ocean juice. Huey reminded us who's boss right from the outset sending us packing under a filthy storm and 8ft foot of north chop coming down the straight as well as a 6.5 magnitude Padang special . The lads went hard straight off the bat, leaving skin all over the reef at Suicides before heading over to the Playground which delivered us uncrowded joy wherever we dropped the pick. This seems to be the theme on the remainder of our journey . Pumping, offshore and uncrowded ! Even Macaronis with just us out for the Dawny and a lunchtime sesh with no more than 5 resort guests. Froth levels reached an all time high when we awoke on the biggest day of the trip at an undisclosed left that was seriously off chops. Our guests were treated to Mentawai perfection and showed their appreciation by leaving a hefty tip for the crew who left no stone unturned in bringing high quality service. Thanks Lads! Hope you had a trip of a lifetime.
