The landscapes here are simply otherworldly. The region is divided into valleys, with the most popular ones being the Pigeon Valley, Love Valley, White Valley, and Red Valley.

🦁 Safari Around the World: Where to See the "Big Five"?

If you adore the wild nature, dream of visiting Africa's national parks, and want to catch a glimpse of elephants, lions, and other inhabitants of the savannah, you've come to the right place.

We're sharing destinations to see the "Big Five" - elephant, leopard, buffalo, rhinoceros, and lion.

🟡 Tanzania
Tanzania boasts several dozen reserves and national parks. In the south - Ruaha, Mikumi, Selous - the infrastructure is less developed, and the distances between parks are longer. However, the northern parks - Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro, Tarangire - are conveniently located relative to each other, allowing you to visit more places in one trip.

🟡 Kenya
Kenya has over 60 national parks and reserves, with the five most famous ones being Nairobi, Amboseli, Tsavo East, Nakuru, and Maasai Mara. For your first safari in Kenya, most people opt for a route that includes Amboseli, Nakuru/Naivasha, and Maasai Mara.

🟡 South Africa (SA)
For South Africa, you need to head to Kruger National Park. It's the oldest, largest, and the only park in the country where animals truly live in the wild. Since the park's inhabitants range from elephants and lions to giraffes and crocodiles, tourists are only allowed to travel on roads and only in vehicles.

Safari is an excellent activity for nature lovers. Imagine diving deep into the African bush and driving past Africa's ‘Big Five’ – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino. Depending on the place and safari type you can also spot hyenas, giraffes, hippos and even flamingos.

Would you like to explore the places you visit to the fullest? Here are some tips to make your trip unforgettable🔝

1. Attend local festivals, carnivals, and other events You’ll be immediately immersed into a foreign culture and, usually, there are so many of them that it’s hard to choose. Use Facebook Event or Meetup.com to find something of interest.

2. Try the local food Even if you believe you won’t like it, you might be surprised. Food reflects cultural differences and getting used to it is a perfect way to plunge into mysterious culture.

3. Use public transportation to feel the local vibe. Many people rely on the tour buses, but it’s worth taking a regular route to observe different areas and to find out how ordinary people behave there. Don’t worry, with Google maps you won’t get lost, but such a ride could be very adventurous.

4. Watch people from your café People who sit next to you in the café or work there, people who hurry up because they’re late – by watching them you get a sense of how the locals live day after day.

5. Get a view from a rooftop Visit some upper viewpoint to take the most incredible photos or to enjoy the panorama.

6. Meet the locals
You get a completely different experience if you explore a foreign city through the locals' perspective. ✔️Fez, Moroccan city, is home to the oldest university in the world. It was founded by a Muslim woman, who decided to contribute her family’s wealth to the society and found this continuously operating institution in 859 A.D.
