These are grim times. As elsewhere, in our primary destinations of Iceland, Italy, and the USA, the COVID-19 situation is worsening hourly. We mourn with these nations, and offer our solidarity to their people. In the near future we will be sending them assistance.

Around the world there have been myriad stories of acts of kindness. Below, we invite you to share your own stories that have given you hope and cheer. Or, just write whatever you’d like to, about this shocking pandemic. And don’t hesitate to share your pictures and home videos of how you’re coping!

We at WOW know that all of your lives are affected, and we know you must be worried. As we are working to take you aloft again when the skies open anew, we have learned from your feedback that you are an optimistic and cheerful family of travelers, passionate for discovery and excited for new encounters.

So, while you’re busy washing your hands, taking care of your children, tending to your elderly, and trying to make ends meet, please remember just how beautiful you are – how resilient and positive-natured you are. You are making a brave difference by accepting to stay at home and by sacrificing face-to-face fellowship with your friends. We feel confident that if all of us do our parts, we can jointly contribute to making our nations whole again.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been especially hard on Italy, our hub for Europe, and is spreading rapidly in Iceland, our premier destination. Under these dire circumstances, WOW Chairman Michele Roosevelt Edwards is proud to announce that WOW’s sister non-profit organization US Charitable Trust will soon be carrying out major humanitarian efforts to these nations.

Yesterday in Rome, US Charitable Trust signed a partnership agreement with the Agostino Gemelli University Polyclinic Foundation, whereby we will support the efforts that the Gemelli Polyclinic, a leading Italian hospital, to help ensure care and assistance for people affected by COVID-19.
