Here is my list for the top 3 accessible US cities that I have visited! Not only are these my top accessible cities, but these are in fact my favorite cities to travel to. Washington D.C is rich in history and is great for anyone with a disability. From transportation to historic sites, this city is awesome for your accessibility needs. I would consider Orlando, FL an ultra-accessible city, and it has Disney World, enough said. Apart from the amazing attractions, you won't have any trouble getting equipment rentals, from hospital beds to Hoyer lifts, you will be covered. Plus, any city with a Buc-ees less than an hour away is always a winner. Dallas, TX is an amazing destination, especially for those with special needs. Downtown Dallas is incredibly easy to get around, and the light rail system is accessible and super easy to manage. In all these places, you'll never run out of things to do, without all the headaches of inaccessibility.

There are so many things around the Walt Disney World Resort you may have never noticed or never thought about stopping for. The ragtime pianist at Casey’s corner in the Magic Kingdom may be something you’ve never considered paying attention to in your rush to get to the big attractions. I’m here to tell you, this is a must see show, and it happens several times a day. On this day, the musician I had the pleasure of listening to was Neal, and he puts on a spectacular show. There is so much more to the Walt Disney World property than theme parks. Take this beautiful trail between the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and the Magic Kingdom. This trail between these two locations is beautiful, and you forget you are in the middle of busy Orlando, Florida. With Seven Seas Lagoon on your right, you will feel one with nature as well as a perfect view of the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Contemporary resorts. You might even catch a glimpse of the world-famous Walt Disney World monorail above you on this trail, there really is nothing like it. 2024 is the best time to visit The Walt Disney World Resort! The walls are coming down at Epcot Center in December, as well as a new fireworks show! You will have the ability to park hop at all hours, instead of waiting until 2 PM. The Disney Dining Plan is making it's grand reappearance! Got a chance to take an amazing tour with Bulldog Tours last night in Charleston, SC. I did the Ghosts and Dungeons tour and it was great. Abby our guide made it incredibly intriguing, terrifying, and fun at the same time. We took a trip down into the historic Provost dungeon where American Patriots were held by the British. We took a trip down to the waterfront park and listened to stories about Charleston’s terrifying past. We finished our tour at the historic and famously haunted Wagener Building. Got a chance today to take a VIP tour of Andrew Jackson’s The Hermitage outside of Nashville, Tennessee! Keith was our guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable and made history, well, entertaining. Such a great look back in time at one of America’s most interesting historical figures. Walking into his mansion was like stepping back in time, with 80% of the building and contents being original. The grounds are fully accessible as well as the first story of the mansion. Unfortunately, due to this being a historical landmark, the upstairs is unable to be accessed by someone with mobility impairments or someone who requires the use of a wheelchair. There are pictures of the upstairs in a booklet in order for everyone to see the whole house. This was truly an awesome experience as a look back on the 7th President of the United States. Hey y'all! Today, I checked out the Pearl River Resort, located just an hour outside of Jackson in Choctaw, Mississippi, and it's definitely worth a visit! With three hotels and two casinos, this place is an absolute blast! I had the opportunity to explore one of the king accessible rooms at the Golden Moon Hotel and Casino and was impressed with how spacious it was. The room easily accommodated my wheelchair and there was even enough room for a hoyer lift to fit easily under the bed. Plus, the room had a roll-in shower, making it a great option for people with mobility needs.

But that's not all - the resort also features a spa at the Silver Star Hotel and Casino, where you can treat yourself to some much-needed relaxation and rejuvenation. If you're ever in Mississippi, you have to check out the Pearl River Resort. Let me help you plan an unforgettable vacation at amazing destinations all across the country!

Attention all theme park lovers! 🎢🎡 Exciting news from Universal Studios – they're expanding with two new parks: Epic Universe in Orlando and a park in Frisco, Texas, outside of Dallas. The Texas park will feature family-friendly attractions inspired by How to Train Your Dragon and other popular franchises, there is not currently an opening time set. Epic Universe, the biggest Universal park ever, will feature lands inspired by DreamWorks Animation, Illumination, and Nintendo, and is set to open in 2025. Although Epic Universe is still a couple years away, you can already experience Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood! 🚀 I'm excited to plan your next adventure to these amazing destinations, as well as other thrilling places around the country.
