We are aboard our ••CELEBRITY CRUISE••

We decided to take our cruising adventures to the next level. Celebrity Cruise Line is a sister company to Royal Caribbean. They offer similar itineraries, but an elevated experience. We are excited to try a new cruise line, while simultaneously introducing our son to the world of cruising as well!

I will have limited availability over the next few days as I unplug and enjoy the last few days before our little one starts school for the very first time. We are ready to relax, enjoy our time together, and I’m ready to bring everything I learn to help you plan your family vacations!

I’ve had countless conversations this week regarding unexpected travel hiccups. I could tell some very real, very emotional stories about the many-many times my clients have been relieved to have travel protection. We recently took public transportation all throughout Chicago. We rode on the train, on the subway, and walked a ton of stairs and used the handrails too. I honestly can’t even think of all of the germs without feeling a little nauseous. During our trip, I carried TWO different kinds of hand sanitizer, the one you see below, and a liquid one. I felt like the spray didn’t do its justice, so we used the liquid and I’m not mad about it 😅 In a world full of an unbelievable amount of germs, in a city where a public sink isn’t readily available, hand sanitizer will work in a pinch!

Something fun that my family and I got to experience over the weekend was the beautiful city of Chicago!

I get the benefit of living in small rural community tucked along the I-65 corridor, right between two major cities - Indianapolis and Chicago. It makes both of these cities perfect for small weekend getaways and cityscapes (escaping to the city).

Chicago is full of beautiful architecture, lively culture, and adventures around every turn. There’s truly something for everyone to enjoy and iconic sites to see like:

She is stateside! ✨

The newest ship to join Royal Caribbean’s fleet, Utopia of the Seas is finally at her home port of Port Canaveral, Florida. After a 3-day naming celebration to welcome her home, Utopia of the Seas will set sail on her maiden voyage on July 19th, which features a 3-night cruise with port stops at CoCo Cay, Royal Caribbean’s private island, and Nassau Bahamas!

Utopia of the Seas is taking over the destination and itineraries of Allure of the Seas, both Oasis class ships. Allure of the Seas will be moving to Galveston, Texas after its refurbishment.

I’m set to sail on this ship in May of next year. I’m so excited because Royal Caribbean is a top pick of mine, and I just know that this ship is going to be mind-blowing!

This year has been so exciting for me, both personally and professionally. So much so that I had to pull the reigns back until I could get a good balance again. (I mean, life IS truly about balance… right?)

And while many things have changed, the majority has stayed the same. I’ve had a career change, taking a position closer to home. I’m now working as a registered nurse on -night shift- as my full time job. My family is transitioning into public schools. AND we’re doing a complete remodel to the outside of our house.(If you think your head is spinning…).

BUT I am still advising for travel. I took this time to take care of my current clients so that I could dedicate my efforts to those who trusted their travel plans in me.

It was great to step back, try to breathe in some fresh air, and make some life changes. But now I’m ready to take on more clients!

I don’t typically share news stories here, but I just had to share this amazing act of a dauntless, fierce rescuing from Carnival Cruise Line!

The captain and crew were able to answer the call AND not disrupt their itinerary.

That’s just amazing if you ask me 🛳️ ❤️✨

A popular cruise line responded to calls for help and detoured from its normal vacation route on Saturday to help two dozen people stranded at sea off the coast of Ensenada, Mexico.
