A mental exercise I did prior to setting my goals for 2025 was figuring out what my “higher self” looks like.

This may sound a little woo woo, but stay with me 😂

On my way home from Cancun, I made myself an alter ego. Now this wasn’t just any alter ego, this was the person that I STRIVED to be. I wrote down what my higher self looked like, what her habits were, how she was running her business, what kind of mom she is, everything you could think of. And by the end of the flight, I made my higher self such a baddie that I couldn’t help but want to be just like her. And it all clicked.

Some of us are working so hard to be successful but we don’t know what success even looks like to ourselves. And if we don’t have a finish line to cross, how will we ever win or consider all of our hard work a success?

My goal: to become my higher self by the age of 30.

Long story long, my higher self wears satin pajamas every night so now I wear satin pajamas every night 😜 CROSSING THAT OFF THE LIST ✅

My stay at Walt Disney World’s Dolphin resort last month was nothing short of amazing! Such an amazing places for families, especially for those that want to take a midweek break just to enjoy all the things the resort has to offer! But even on an adults only trip, it was exactly what we were looking for!

I get asked all the time “how do you do it all?” So here is a little glimpse of my morning routine with time stamps ☀️

I was never a 5 AM waker-upper before 2025. To be honest, the thought of getting up that early sounded like pure torture. But this year, I have too big of goals for myself to NOT be that girl that wakes up at 5 AM. And to be completely honest with you, I wouldn’t be able to get up this early if I didn’t get a Hatch Alarm Clock for Christmas. If you have questions on this, let me know because I could be a sales person for Hatch for the amount of love I have for this thing 😂

✅5 AM wake up time
✅Gotta do the mom things- laundry, dishes, & dogs gotta go potty
✅Gathered up some items to take to the blessing box + restocked the snack drawer with more things before the kids wake up
✅Now the fun starts- QUOTES! This morning, I worked on a proposal for a returning client of mine that is taking a belated honeymoon to somewhere a lot warmer than here 🥶
✅coffee + finishing up the scripture reading for this week
✅Log on for work-work

Last year, I was snoozing my alarm clock, procrastinating and not thinking about my long term goals every day & it showed. I didn’t hit my goals, I started to develop bad habits and I just all around lost any sense of discipline. This year feels different in more ways than one & I’m doing everything I can to feel like me again ☺️☀️

I am still playing catch up from the holiday break and am still working hard to get quotes out the door, but I just had to share all the amazing destinations I am getting to help clients go to! Truly the best job EVER!

So those of you that know me & follow me on Instagram, you know that I’m participating in a “No Buys 2025” in certain areas and one of those No buys is coffee 🫣

In 2024, I was the girl going to the coffee shop daily that never had her nails done.

In 2025, I wanted to be the girl that gets her nails done professionally on the regular but in order to do that, I needed to be a girl that makes her coffee at home ☹️

But today, I was swinging by the coffee shop to pick up a few gift cards for clients and felt like it didn’t really count if I bought coffee while I was already there for business purposes🫣

What do you think? Did I cheat on my No Buy or is my thinking justified? 😂

Just booked my flights for my April trip and that alone gave me a little more pep in my step today 😂🤭 I have the most clients I have ever had traveling in January + February to an all inclusive resort and for good reason! 🥶

One thing no one tells you when you delete Snapchat is that you will miss sending snapchats to your friends about some of the wild (actually very boring, mom things) that happen in your life.

So just to let everyone know, I accidentally washed one of my children’s toy basketballs through a full cycle in the washing machine.

I can’t wait to see what the second half of this week brings for me 🤭
