✨So.Many.Things. announced at Disney’s D23 fan event this weekend!

✨Disney rectified their misstep from the previous D23 and emphasized that everything announced this time is actually in production and will be coming in the next few years.

✨Walt Disney World will see the most new additions, including three new lands:

- Villains land coming to Magic Kingdom
- Monsters, Inc. land coming to Hollywood Studios
-Tropical Americas land coming to Animal Kingdom (with Encanto and Indiana Jones attractions)

Plus two “Cars” themed attractions will be located in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom.

✨Nighttime parade in Magic Kingdom will run in summer 2025. I remember these from way back in the day! Given that currently there are only nighttime parades during the Halloween and Christmas party events this will be a fun inclusion on a standard park ticket.

✨Disneyland will get a couple new things that had been rumored for awhile, including attractions based on “Avatar” and “Coco.”

✨FOUR *more* new ships are on order for Disney Cruise Line and the first will arrive in 2027. As expected by clues that were dropped, the stage show on Disney Destiny, the ship launching in November 2025, will have a “Hercules” theme.

✨Lots of details about these and other new additions are still to be filled in, but this is A LOT (and I didn’t even list all of it here).

✨Tip: While there are never guarantees in crowd level predictions, spring and early summer 2025 will likely be a lower crowd time to visit Walt Disney World … if this destination is on your bucket let me know. I can help!

✨Planning a visit here is not as tricky as planning a Disney parks vacation. But there are still some important things to know and do to make the most of your investment!

✨Booking windows for Aulani:

Fitness classes (yoga, boot camp, etc) are reserved 14 days in advance at midnight Hawaii time (6am ET).

Regular activities are booked 30 days in advance at 7am Hawaii time (1pm ET).

Luau — dates are released in blocks, typically 6 to 4 months prior.

Aunty’s Beach House: 90 days at midnight Hawaii time (6am ET).

Cabanas: 90 days at midnight Hawaii time (6am ET).

Spa: 90 days at midnight Hawaii time (6am ET).

Dining: 30 days at midnight Hawaii time (6am ET)

✨Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is Back!!! 🎃
