✨Travelers must apply for the new Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to visit (or pass through) the United Kingdom starting Jan 8th.

✨Europe's new Entry and Exit System (EES) will launch sometime in 2025 -- date TBA.

✨Real ID requirements will (finally) be enforced by the TSA beginning May 7th. Travelers ages 18+ will need a driver's license or state identification with a Real ID or a passport to board an airplane in the United States.

✨Yes — even a really busy day at a theme park can be enjoyable. But it’s good to go in prepared …

A few examples of ways to “zig” when other folks “zag:”

✨Zig: arrive before park opening to be in the first wave of guests

✨Zig: have a plan for which 3 attractions you hope to visit in the first hour

✨Zig: eat lunch/dinner early and mobile order your food when possible (consider placing a pre-order when you enter the park)

✨Zig: soak up the atmosphere for a bit (including doing a photo scavenger hunt or looking for hidden Mickeys if at a Disney destination)

✨Zig: splurge on a behind the scenes tour, dining package, or dessert party for getting away from larger crowds

✨Zig: leave the park at “high tide” mid-day and either rest at your resort, or have a table service lunch outside the parks, or switch to a less busy park if your tickets allow

✨Zig: if there are two evening shows, attend the later one

✨EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays is such a beautiful (and delicious) tradition!

✨This is the shortest festival all year, blink and you’ll miss it.

✨Our family went in 2023 and loved the holiday storytellers representing several traditions, the yummy chocolate treats, and the beautiful music.

✨The Candlelight Processional makes for a festive evening.
