ULURU
Ayers Rock & The Olgas

It was so cold here. We bought the Melbourne weather with us!
Such an incredible place to see though. So much culture to experience and Ayers Rock is phenomenal to experience. The kids absolutely loved this place too and have learnt so much.
We did the Field of Lights experience which was a lot shorter than we thought it would be, we missed the tour guides cues to leave so got left behind and did our own tour, but still enjoyable and we got some incredible photos.
We have just arrived in Kings Canyon and ready for a few days of relaxing and hiking.

Day 3-4 Coober Pedy

Wow what an adventure!! So we free camped just out of Woomera as we headed towards Coober Pedy. This spot was amazing right next to the Ghan train railway. We had a fire under the stars and a few reds.

In the morning we headed to Coober Pedy in a head wind and rain. When we arrived it was a mud pit 🙈 We got bogged with 3 other cars and caravans on the way into TomCat Hill where we were meant to stay. After 3 hours we finally got out and thankfully met a lady who found us some accomodation out the front of her friends home.
Staying in the city of Coober Pedy can be dangerous so we were thankful Frank & Carol took us in. They live in a dugout they did themselves that took 11 years to dig out and build. It was insane!
Today it’s Levi’s 6th Birthday so after pancakes and presents we explored the Old Timers Mine and the Synagogue. The kids are doing some mining this arvo for opals and the sun is finally shining 🥰✌️

Day 2- Renmark
Christine Schiller Simon Lacey

*Freecamped at the T.M Price Rotary Park.
*Watched the Pies win in a nail biter at the local RSL 🙌
*Heading Cliff Lookout was awesome to see.
*The Famous Black Stump was pretty cool too.

Simon had the grinder going and tools spread out at 6am ‘fixing’ the stone stomper 😂🙈

Now heading to Glendambo for a stop over before heading to Coober Pedy. ✌️

DAY 1
Melbourne to Renmark. 8 hours
Here we go..
All packed and up early this morning! Had a few teething issues with the Caravan Fridge but I’m sure Simon Lacey will cable tie a few wires out of it and we will be good to go! 🥴✌️

Going to miss our Family and Friends but so excited to see Aus 🫶🏼
