Our Thorn-Clarke 2012 Sandpiper Shiraz recently took out the Kemeny's Perpetual Trophy for Best Value Dry Red Table Wine as well as winning a Blue Gold and being placed in the Top 100 at the 2015 Sydney International Wine Challenge. Summer news (& WIN a museum Shiraz collection)
Hello! It has been the most incredible year celebrating our 25th anniversary: We’ve held our first event in the Adelaide Fringe, we’ve hosted & thoroughly enjoyed dinners at top restaurants around the country. James Halliday, Huon Hooke, Ralph Kyte-Powell, Ray Jordan & David Sly joined us here at the winery for a vertical tasting of all our Shiraz, what an honour that was! We were awarded the trophy for the Most Successful Exhibitor at the Barossa Wine Show. We popped up again in Adelaide, we released (and very quickly sold out of) 2 new small batch wines - and had a whole lot of fun in between! This got us thinking - how can we possibly finish this amazing year with a bang? Let’s share the love & celebrations with you… We want to give you the chance to own your very own retrospective of Turkey Flat Shiraz. Yes - Mark & I have hand-picked a collection of 6 of our most favourite back-vintages from our cellar -1998, 1999, 2002, 2006, 2010 & 2012 - just for you. Imagine bringing that to the Christmas dinner table! If travels bring you Barossa-way soon we’d love to share a little piece of our home with you. Enjoy Carols by Candlelight this December
In an annual Christmas tradition the City of Armadale invites you to join in the festive spirit of the holiday season with the much loved Carols by Candlelight. The evening’s events begin with a treat for the littlies in the Jull Street Mall with the Toy Parade leading Santa as they mesmerise the children with their interaction. We suggest you arrive early to secure the best place up front and feel free to take photos with the toys as they pass. Thousands will enjoy enchanting performances by local professional and community talents as well as be invited to come together as a collective voice and join in with carols including The First Noel, Silent Night, Joy to the World, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and many others.
