joined TL Portfolio in March 2015 in a junior sales role. I honestly did not know what to expect as she was young, somewhat green and even shy. Though she did not fit the usual sales profile, I decided to take a chance.
It took Ana less than 3-years to make her name known & respected by the industry, to become fluent in both English & Spanish and less than that to gain the respect & admiration of the entire team. Her charisma & humbleness makes people feel at ease while her incredible efficiency & unstoppable determination motivates those she touches. Before long, the sales team asked that she be promoted; “We want Ana to be the head of sales! She helps us organize our agendas, trains us on all aspects of the job, and makes our lives better… plus she is always there to help & support us no matter what!”. I could not agree more!
In 2018, Ana took the leadership of sales & marketing, initially for Brazil but the LATAM team would not have it…”We want Ana too!” Everyone loves her but that doesn’t mean she is an easy boss. Ana has high expectation, sets & tracks goals, she analyzes numbers in seconds and is tough yet incredible fair. She drives for performance but is understanding. She leads by example and is always the first to volunteer to help. As I work on growing TL Portfolio globally with the goal of becoming a respected force in luxury travel, Ana constantly challenges me to think differently… [CONTINUE IN COMMENTS]
