When I was little I had a spiraled notebook that I filled with ideas and doodles of items that I would sell in a shop one day. That notebook took a backseat to teaching elementary art for 9 years, where I usually found myself covered in glitter or glue…and often times both. When I stopped teaching to have our son, I decided to flip back to that little dream and I reopened my Etsy shop. And, honest
ly, it rocked our family’s little world. Thankfully, by God’s grace he is doing remarkably well and lives life to its absolute fullness. The experience left me wanting to do more and to make a difference in not only my son’s heart but other little hearts as well. From that point, I decided that 10 percent of each purchase would go directly to the Children’s Heart Foundation, which supports life saving research. So, welcome to the grown up version of my little spiraled notebook. (My creative ideas have advanced quite a bit from the pony bead necklaces I was envisioning back then.) We can’t wait to create something for you and thank you for helping us pound out pediatric heart disease one brushstroke at a time. Kimberly & My “Little Crayon Eater”
