For too long the residents of Unanderra & Berkely been neglected by our politicians both state and federal, because of the stigma "Safe Labour Seat". Finally after many years of protests by many cross sections of our community, Seniors, families with young children and the disabled. Now we have a new government and in their great wisdom they decided to pull the funding. It says there needs to be a
certain criteria to qualify. Patronage: today 23rd of February 2012 there were 120 cars parked in the car park, with about 30 free spaces, not counting the numerous numbers of people that get dropped off and picked up, as will of those who choose to walk to the station)
Tourist: we have the Nan Tien Temple, Western Leagues Club
Health/medical: we have two nursing homes in close proximity to the station
