Butterbird is known for their fried chicken, and oooooo we loved it! They have lots of chicken options but also other goodies and soft serve for dessert. The vibe is fun and you can visit the photo booth before you leave!

Be sure to stop by their happy hour too!

Enjoy Butterbird for dinner or brunch.

📍Indigo Ridge Lavender Farm | Black Earth

Be sure to keep this lavender farm on your radar for next summer! Today was the last day to pick and cut your own lavender and we did so while overlooking the bluffs of the Wisconsin River. Sitting in a field of lavender was such a calming and joyful experience.

📍Augustiner Beer Garden | München, Bavaria

This one takes a bit of planning to get to from Wisconsin, but if you are in Bavaria Augustiner Keller is a MUST. Incredible atmosphere, the BEST beer, and wonderful food. Spend an evening or two under the chestnut trees.

If you are looking for a Madison area adventure, be sure to go see the lupine field at Gov. Dodge State Park!

We added a stop at for some delicious pizza to enjoy at the park! We ordered Asparagus pizza and sausage pizza!
