Always a good reminder. If you'd be upset if it was lost or it's not easily replaceable, don't check it. Don't be fooled into a sense of security by locking your suitcase either. A simple pen allows people to break into your zipper while it's still locked. 😮

We broke down everything you should absolutely never pack in your checked baggage.

On our last trip the TSA was saying this at security. Although I forgot and didn't get my bags searched. Others got stopped and their bags searched due to coins.

There’s one more thing that might be next on the Transportation Security Administration’s list of items you’ll have to pull out of your carry-on bag: your snacks.

Edited to include my regular business hours. On Monday's I am in meetings all morning, so will not be available to answer calls and return messages until after 1 pm. I am available select evenings and on the weekends as needed by appointment or for emergencies in addition to my regular hours.

Fyi. For those needing to renew your passport soon. Remember to travel out of country, your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months past your return date.

The cost of renewing your passport is an unfortunate – albeit necessary – price to pay for traveling.

News - Resort Fees in Las Vegas Are Climbing | Joyful Getaways

Resort Fee's at Las Vegas Hotels can make what seems to be an inexpensive vacation, not so inexpensive. They are not built into packages and are instead payable to the resort directly.

Caesars Entertainment has raised resort fees by up to $5 at most of its Las Vegas properties.

Destination - Cozumel | Joyful Getaways

Cozumel Mexico is another port that we are stopping at on our cruise in about 3 weeks! I LOVE this area of Mexico (Cancun/Riviera Maya/Cozumel) and have vacationed here many times on land as well as stopped on cruises. This time we are taking a submarine tour that goes along the reef and down 100ft! I'm SO EXCITED for this excursion! There is a TON to see and do in the area! The water is perfect for scuba, snorkeling, and other water sports and is a GORGEOUS blue! The sand is great too, and there are many areas to explore, especially the Mayan Ruins! I'd love to help plan your trip to the Riviera Maya/Cancun/Cozumel! I have toured a lot of hotels and done a lot of things here, so can be of immense help!
