We are athletes, diplomats, and veterans committed to opening the world and connecting people through racing. We've competed in numerous racing events at home and around the world, from Uganda to Colombia, and have found in them a way to connect with the larger racing community. While we most often compete in triathlons, we also run, swim, and bike independently, and some of us are looking for an

opportunity to jump into the booming trail racing circuit. Open World Racing offers you an opportunity to compete in off-the-beaten-path organized racing events, accompanied by unique cultural immersions, service projects, and adventure activities tailored to the locale. We are still developing our itineraries, but look forward to coming out strong in 2018!

Another fun race in the books with Jamie and Tamar both dominating their categories! Elise takes the overall win! Jamie ran a hilly 5K trail pushing 90 pounds of kids in a running stroller; Thanks to and for organizing the 2024 Friends of the Library Montgomery County on such a beautiful morning.

The realities of parenting and staying fit - who’s familiar? We know Jamie is! She would have loved to stick around to stand at the top of the podium yesterday at beautiful race at but had to get home to the kiddos. She’s a star and heck of a trail runner! Here’s to you Jamie!

Congrats to Ed for crushing the Rock N Roll half marathon! We’ve been working with Ed to help him meet his racing and fitness goals for just about 2 1/2 years now. He has several sprint and Olympic distance triathlons under his belt but this was his longest race yet! Ed, you’re a star! And you’re gonna gonna crush the Reston sprint tri this weekend!
