📍 @lorettasburritohut
We stopped in for breakfast to go. There breakfast burritos were bomb!! If your in Tucumcari, NM make sure to stop in!
📍 Blue Hole in Santa Rosa
We were hoping to all jump in, but it was so cold and windy we decided not to! It was amazing to see. People can come here and scuba drive!
📍Dog House in Albuquerque, NM
Lunch time! We had heard about this place and had to check it out! It was so good and bonus it is a drive up! You pull up and park and they walk to your window take your order and then bring it out to you! With little kids this was so nice! The food was yummy! We also made friends with another @teslamotors and communicated through fart noises 😂😂.
📍 @elranchohotel Gallup, NM
This is our second time staying here and we loved it again! We got to stay in the Marx brothers room. It was really nice because it had two separate bedrooms 🎉🎉. Me and Grant got to go around and check out the place. The security guard at the hotel saw us walking around and showed us John Waynes room. Then he took us out on the balcony and showed us were John Wayne would sit and hang out. It was a fun experience.

Day 3! 🗺 Tucumcari, NM to Tulsa, Ok
📍 Mid Point Cafe in Adrian, Texas
We stopped here for breakfast. It was so yummy and they had kids route 66 pancakes! Adrian, Texas is the mid point of Route 66. The kids were so excited to run right through the middle of Route 66!
📍Giant cross in Groom, Texas
This is a rest stop that has the largest cross in Texas. Surrounding the cross are life sized statues of Christs last week. It was so sweet to go around with the kids reading the last days of Christ and then they had the empty tomb representing his resurrection.
📍Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas @officialcadillacranch
This is one of our favorite stops! The kids had so much fun looking at the painted Cadillacs and then getting to paint some of them! They had an awesome trailer set up to buy spray paint, stickers, shirts, hats, and so much more!
📍U Drop Inn Shamrock, Texas @udropinn
The U Drop Inn inspired Ramone’s house if body art in the movie @disney Cars. @udropinncafe is a fun place to grab some ice cream, milkshake, and some lunch! They also had @teslamotors chargers in the parking lot so we were able to charge and grab some ice cream while we where there.
📍Pops 66 in Arcadia, Ok @pops.66
The kids had a blast going through over 700 different kinds of sodas! We picked out 6 that looked like fun to try. Outside is a 66 foot lite up soda bottle! The kids loved to jump off the round blocks and run around the giant sofa bottle!
📍 Tulsa, OK @motel6
We stayed the night in Tulsa at Motel 6 which was super nice and the staff was so friendly!
Yosemite in the fall is stunning! Hoping to get to go again later in fall to see the colors changing more!

There is such a cool story behind these beautiful flowers!!! Look at our story for the link!! Here is a little bit of the story:
In 1943, living in a tiny cabin overlooking Pacific Grove’s Lovers Point, gardener and self-styled adventurer Hayes Perkins (1874–1964) began to clear a poison oak-covered ocean bluff in Pacific Grove. Perkins’s hand-water the coastal bluff with a mix of shrubs and South African drosanthemum floribundum, a succulent of the ice plant variety. Over 14 years he single-handedly created a nearly one-mile-long pathway into a dazzling springtime carpet of fluorescent-purple blooms, a floral “Magic Carpet”. Named Perkins Park in 1950, the garden plays an important role in the town’s appeal as a resort destination.

Pfeiffer Falls - Pfeiffer Burns state Park
Always fun to have little rewards like this at the end of a trail.
📍Pinnacles National Park
🥾2.4 Miles round trip
🏞️Bear Gulch Cave Trail
Fun family friendly hike! One of the most unique hikes we have been on. You get to go through a cave to get up to the reservoir. We took our 4 and 5 year old girls on the hike and they did great!
Helpful Info:
✨$30 park fee that is good for 7 days or buy a $80 annual pass that can get you into all national parks.
✨You need to bring a flashlight or headlamp for the caves as they get extremely dark. We used our cellphone lights but wish we had brought our headlamps.
✨We had to walk over a little bit of water we stepped across the rocks and didn’t get too wet.
✨This trail is rough terrain so not good for strollers or wheelchairs.
✨Don’t forget to take the narrow stairs up to the reservoir that was the highlight of the hike! Great place to stop for a snack. Make sure to pack up what you bring in.
✨There are restrooms at the beginning of the hike.
✨We recommend going during the weekday as the weekends get extremely packed. If you do go during the weekend go very early.
✨Pinnacles does have tent and RV camping.
