SUCCESS! - “not a single moment the kids played on an electronic device!” Hahaha! Here is the back story: Our guest who checked in on February 18th had specifically requested we leave all of our Christmas decorations up since their booking was a “Christmes present.” They knew their grandkids would appreciate them. Soooo we looked like the Griswalds through February, but previous guests did not seem to mind…. Great to have another wonderful guest, and we are so blessed they had a good time. We even added another Christmas ornament to our “guest” Christmas tree! You should come stay at the Breezy Bear Hallmark Cabin next season!

Mark Martens and his family stayed at Breezy Bear over Thanksgiving last year. Mark is a wonderful Woodworker and has an Etsy page, KernholzKreations. We contracted Mark to make us a personalized Breezy Bear wall art piece. He worked with us on size and design, even adding a picture of Breezy Bear! What a beautiful piece of art! It arrived shortly after Christmas and we have it proudly hanging on the wall at Breezy Bear, along with many other pieces of artwork from local artists. He even added a few custom Christmas ornaments that will hang on our tree forever. Thank you Mark, these pieces will be cherished for a lifetime!

Happy Thanksgiving from Breezy Bear! Our current guest sent us this picture… Apparently we fed our critter (who lives under the deck) his Thanksgiving meal early last night!

Our guest also has an Etsy store and makes beautiful scroll saw artwork. We are going to have them make a custom Breezy Brear sign for inside!

SHARE THIS POST - Have a wonderful family Christmas at Breezy Bear Cabin in Wears Valley Tennessee (Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg). There are 2 weeks still available at $199-$219 a night. November 26th thru December 2nd and December 9th thru 14th. Cabin is 3 bedroom 2 bath and sleeps 9 in beds. Christmas is an amazing time of the year at Breezy Bear…. We decorate for 3 days, put up 8 trees, and even have a flying Santa outside. Read the reviews attached to this post! Google “Breezy Bear Cabin” and book using VRBO or AirBNB.

For those of you who have enjoyed our Fall and Christmas decorations, we have purchased many of them from Tim and Rick at the Rotary Club Craft Fair in downtown Pigeon Forge (see pictures for info). It is hard to believe another season is over. Goodbye Summer, Happy Fall! Breezy Bear is decorated for our 5th Fall! Every year we add a little more….. When we first started Breezy Bear, I was excited to bring our Jeep down for the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion…. However, the cabin has been booked every year at this time. Well, after 3 years the cabin was finally available! We had a great time duck hunting! For those Jeep geeks, Mud Thumper is a 2002 TJ with a big block Ford 460, 500hp, 44” tires, 20” wheel travel…. 100% built with our hands over 3 years!

A little over a year ago, July 2022, one of our guests wrote in our guest book that they work at Dr. Pepper and we did not have them represented. Well…. Dr. Pepper bottles are very hard to come by! We have been looking for an entire year. But score, we found BOTH Dr. Pepper, and Diet Dr. Pepper from a private collection being sold on the Route 127 Yard Sale this year! The first thing we do when we clean is read the guest book, it is the highlight of our day! We take comments and suggestions VERY seriously, and this one took an entire year to fulfill! Leave comments in our guest book, we love them!….

One of our repeat guests have come for the last 3 years to participate in the “Smoky Mountain Small Bore Rally” held in Townsend TN. This Rally is typically for motorcycles less than 500cc. They come for the week with trailers and trucks full of bikes, and ride all of the beautiful mountain roads in the area. This year they actually WON 2nd PLACE in the scavenger hunt! Very cool! We love hosting them, and they have already booked for 2024! There is something to do in this area for everyone!

We are working on some marketing videos. This short clip shows the size of Breezy Bear, with its peaceful and private location.

This bear is over 6ft tall and weights much less than the other. Pouring rain, 10pm at night, but we had guests checking in the next day, and did not want to haul him back home!

This bear is made from a double trunk oak stump, and weights almost 2000 pounds! You should have seen us getting it off the dolly we set it on!

Merry Christmas to all our friends, family, past and future guests. Hoping y’all have a very happy holiday season, and many blessings in 2022!
