Pickin N’ Tripin

Hi, I’m Jennifer. I grew up in sunny Southern California until I was 14. At this point I moved to Germany to live with my father. Doing this, would change the course of my life forever. I was lucky enough to live there when the Berlin Wall came tumbling down. My father was transferred back to the states my senior year of high school. Moving from Germany to Louisiana was quite a culture shock. I graduated high school in Louisiana and moved back to Cali. Arizona was next on my list of residences. Unfortunately, I made a few wrong decisions here, but I have no regrets because they brought me to where I am now, Florida.

I married a friend from my school days in Germany. We now have three amazing children. For my full time job, I scour flea markets and garage sales to find items to sell online. I also manage the blog Pickin N’ Tripin. I love sharing how I am able to fund my international trips so inexpensiveley. I travel internationaly at least 4 times a year, by utilizing credit card rewards, and profit from my flea market finds.

It took me 20 years after graduating highschool to find my true passion. Travel has been in me since I was a teen ager. Now I want to be able to share with people that anyone can do this and it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. In fact most of the flights I take are practically free. My blog shares my personal journey and travel tips for anyone who has the desire to see new places.
