The beautiful city of Minneapolis. Known for its arts scene, with the Walker Art Center and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, most of which are free to visit and explore.

The Mall of America, the largest shopping and entertainment complex in the United States is also located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

WHAT TO DO IN LONDON.

London is massive and it will take weeks to see the best of London. I’ve narrowed down the list to some of my favorite activities/destinations.

1. Visit Westminster Abbey:

A royal church that has been the setting for every Coronation since 1066 and for numerous other royal occasions, including sixteen royal weddings.

2. Buckingham Palace:

One of the most popular destinations in London and the royal residence since 1837.

3. Take a Ride on the London Eye:

This is highly recommended for the best view of London especially at night time.

4. Enjoy Afternoon High Tea:

No trip to London is complete without a traditional afternoon tea. I will highly recommend the Festive Afternoon Tea at The Park Room.

5. Piccadilly Circus:

It is famous for its neon signs, different displays and the Eros fountain located in the middle of this road junction.

Explore the beautiful mansions of the Vanderbilt family located in Newport, Rhode Island.

1. The Breakers

The Breakers is the grandest of Newport's summer "cottages" and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's social and financial influence. Tickets cost $29 for adults and $10 for youth ages 6-12.

2. Marble House

William Vanderbilt built Marble House as a 39th birthday present for his wife Alva Vanderbilt. Same prices as above.

3. The Elms

The Elms was modeled after an 18th-century French chateau but featured the latest technology of the Gilded Age. Same prices above or you can visit all three for $46 per adult and $16 for youths.

After spending a few days in Orlando, I must say there is much more to Orlando than theme parks. Here are some ideas:

1. Lake Eola Park:

If you are lucky, you will see some swans in the lake and you can also rent a small boat for a thirty minutes ride around the lake for fifteen US dollars. For those driving, I will recommend you park at the Publix store parking lot.

2. Disney Magic Kingdom:

Disney Magic Kingdom is undoubtedly my favorite of all the Disney World theme parks. I am not into rollercoaster rides (if this is your thing then maybe you should visit Disney Hollywood Studios). I will highly recommend you stay for the fireworks. The fireworks usually run from 8:15 to 8:30pm local time so do not miss it.

3. Celebration Town:

Celebration town located in Kissimmee Florida is a must visit. This is a very small city located about 25 mins from International drive. If you are driving, you can get free parking at the town center and talk a walk around th .

4. The Icon Park:

The Icon park is at the center of International drive and has many fun activities and lots of food options.

5. Downtown Orlando:

Downtown Orlando is a few minutes from Lake Eola Park. Enjoy a 20 – 30 minutes walk, take pictures by the murals and visit the Orlando city library.

6. Orlando Premium Outlet:

The Orlando premium Outlets boost so many stores, ranging from high end brands like Prada, Burberry, Gucci and other brands like Tory Bruch, Uggs, Nike Factory Store, DKNY, and Ralph Lauren just to name a few.

7. Dellagio Center:

What is there not to love about the Dellagio Center. Very exotic and airy neighborhood. There is a beautiful shopping center that has a lake and a water fountain so stop by for some pictures and food.

8. The Pointe Orlando:

Stop by the Pointe Orlando for some pictures, food, and a visit to Wonderworks. If you are having a movie night, then you can visit Regal Cinema and IMAX.

Best Things To Do in Japan in 2 days: Part one.

Traveling to Tokyo, Japan for a few days and don’t know what to do. I have put together a fun yet packed itinerary for you to make good use of your time.

1. Sensō-ji temple:
This is an ancient Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, Tokyo Japan. It is Tokyo’s oldest temple, and one of its most significant.

2. Hoppy Street, Tokyo
Hoppy street also known as Hoppy Dori is located in Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo, Japan. Hoppy Doris is a very popular location for outdoor eating, drinking and you also get a chance to experience Tokyo’s downtown nightlife.

3. Takesh*ta Dori
Takesh*ta Dori is a very busy pedestrian shopping street filled with so many fashion boutiques, cute cafes and restaurants offering several diverse food options.

4. Don Quijote
Known as the biggest discount store in Japan, this location is a must visit for those looking to shop for cute items. They offer discount free purchases so remember to bring your passport to save some money.

5. Tokyo Plaza Omotesando Harajuku.
Located in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan is a very large shopping center with international brands & a rooftop terrace with city views.

2019, a few days after watching “Crazy Rich Asians” my sisters and I booked a flight to Singapore to explore and enjoy some great street food and Singapore did not disappoint.

The colorful streets, the architecture, and the great food. Singapore turned out to be one of my favorite destinations and it always has a place in my heart.

Loved and enjoyed every minute in Singapore and it’s top on my countries to revisit list.

If you haven’t been, you should!

In August of 2020, I took a flight to Las Vegas to visit family. This was my third time in Las Vegas but I’d never been to the Grand Canyon so on this trip, I decided it was finally time to make that trip. Who knew driving a Tesla there wasn’t a very good idea.

The trip was going well and we were almost at our destination when the battery low notification came on. OMG panic mode activated!! 😨😨

Here I am in the middle of nowhere with a car that has low battery. Tesla gave me directions to the nearest charging station but guess what; it was in the opposite direction and we haven’t arrived at the Grand Canyon yet.

I tried to be very optimistic, I pulled over and stopped the car then told my family let’s pretend this is the Grand Canyon, let’s take some pictures then be on our way to charge the car.

I’m so happy I took these pictures because now I can always reminisce about this day when we almost made it tk the Grand Canyon.

Morale of the story; make the best of every situation and try to accept situations we cannot change.

On my trip to London last year, I decided to visit the Oscar Wilde Lounge, a room that’s seen it all over history.

It’s where the likes of Wilde fell in love with Lord Alfred Douglas, Aubrey Beardsley debated with Whistler and David Bowie retired Ziggy Stardust.

Today I was here for the Van Gogh inspired afternoon tea. As an avid art lover, I knew I couldn’t miss this opportunity.

The Van Gogh afternoon tea hopes to take guests on an equally immersive journey through food inspired by his works.

In April of 2022, my sister and I visited Amsterdam for another relaxing and adventurous trip.

What we didn’t know is that the annual Tulip festival was returning for first time since 2020. What a surprise?

Now we hd to make sure we visited before the end of our trip. The tickets were very cheap so we purchased our tickets and took a cab to the location.

What we saw will forever remain a core memory for me. Behold the beautiful Tulip 🌷 flowers in all full bloom. Swipe for more pictures and if you haven’t yet, you should plan a trip to Amsterdam next year.

Chicago is only about an hour 30 minutes from Maryland so I tend to visit there often.

It’s one of my favorites places to go when I need to relax and enjoy some long walks along Lake Michigan.

Chicago is also known for its bold architecture, skyscrapers and beautiful skylines so if you haven’t been, you should be planning a trip there now.

On my most recent trip, I visited the zoo, did some shopping at Magnificent Mile and ate some very delicious. Swipe left to see more 🤗
