Mike Zell and Adam Doerr took home 1st place in the Annual Lake Thompson Walleye Tournament. They weighed 10 fish for 18.77 pounds.

The rules meeting for the Lake Thompson walleye tournament starts at 5 pm in the Lake Preston fire hall. Teams have to check in between 5 and 7 pm. The Calcutta will begin at 7pm at the other bar on main st.

Ice conditions have improved alot over the last week. Vehicles have been traveling on the ice. Thickness varies from 14 to 18 inches. Some bad areas for snow but they are avoidable, 95% of the lake is drivable but as always please use caution.
