So we keep getting messages asking if we were on the Carnival Sunshine when it hit rough weather this past weekend. Yes we were on the ship. Yes it was rough. Yes people were getting sick and glass/items were broken. But at no point did we feel like we wouldn't make it. We can't take away from the way that others feel, but we felt like things were going to be okay. No this wasn't our first cruise so maybe that's why we weren't worried. Some first time cruisers were traumatized and some are already planning their next cruise. Whether you're on the sea, land, or in the air, you are taking a chance. Tragedy can strike at anytime and anywhere. Car accidents happen every day but you continue to drive. Yes storms happen but not every cruise is affected. Please get your own experience before writing something off.
