Incredible sighting on Chapmans Peak Drive of a Caracal.

Talk about a scenic sighting! 🌄

This caracal was spotted on Chapman’s Peak Drive this morning. We urge drivers to be extra careful when driving this route — there have been many sightings of caracals crossing this road. They are likely moving across to hunt the rock hyrax and seabirds on the cliffs below the road 🛣🌊

One of my favourite types of properties is an exclusive use property, especially when travelling with friends and family (and kids of course). You get an entire experience all to yourselves, but you also get to just relax and enjoy time together without having to constantly cook and clean (they all come with housekeepers). Many of these places can be taken on a self catering basis, but there is always the option of a private cook/chef which allows you to spend that precious time with the people you love. We really love an authentic experience and recently we have been adding the amazing Africamps products to our itineraries. They have camps set up in many of South Africa's hot spots so they either make a nice down to earth addition to an itinerary or an entire itinerary could be built using just their camps if luxury camping is totally your thing. The tents can sleep 5 people, have kitted kitchens, big showers, beautiful decks, braais and selected properties even have hot tubs. The best part is that they are excellent value for money, so you can stay longer for less!!
