Check out some pictures from Hannah’s travels to Croatia!

In May of 2022, Hannah took some time off to take a long-awaited trip back to Europe as Covid had ruined her initial plans in the spring of 2020. Making her way to Croatia, she was able to meet up with some friends of hers in Split. Here, for a few short days, she was able to zip-line in the nearby mountains, lay out on the beach, and venture into the Old Town.

Next, she went solo down the coastline to Dubrovnik, also known as King’s Landing, if you’re a Game of Thrones fan! For a few more days, Hannah explored the city alone and took a tour of the city’s history and connection with the famous HBO show. She also took an island-hopping tour via boat where she wandered around many of the small islands off the coast of Croatia. Hannah considers this country to be one of her favorite places she’s ever visited!

Check out some pictures from Hannah’s travels to Australia!

In June of 2015, right after her high school graduation, Hannah had the opportunity to travel to the South Pacific, visiting places like Australia. Stopping in Sydney, she was able to explore the city, attend a symphony at the Sydney Opera House, and even attend a local Australian Football match (not soccer, not American football, not even rugby, but something completely different). Go Sydney Swans! Hannah even took her very first (and only) surfing lesson at the famous Bondi Beach.

Close by, she was able to see the Blue Mountains and also visit a wildlife center. Here, Hannah got up close and personal with things like koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, and her personal favorite, quokkas!

Check out some pictures from Hannah’s travels to New Zealand!

Shortly after high school graduation in May of 2015, Hannah had the opportunity to travel to the South Pacific with one of the destinations being New Zealand. Here, she stayed on the North Island, visiting Auckland, Rotorua, Whakarewarewa Thermal Village, and Hobbiton!

Traveling around the northern island of New Zealand, Hannah was able to see all the green pastures and hills, the thermal lakes, the Sky Tower in Auckland, and even visit a Maori village to learn about the indigenous people of the land and their culture. She was also able to visit an “extreme sport” park where she was able to do a free fall pendulum swing and Zorbing (invented in NZ). Hannah’s favorite part had to be visiting Hobbiton though- yes, the place where they filmed the Shire from the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Here, people can visit all the Hobbit holes and even stop and get a drink at the Green Dragon Inn!

Check out some pictures from Hannah’s travels to Italy!

In the Summer of 2019, Hannah “interned-abroad” in Rome for 2 months just a few blocks away from the Vatican. Yes, she ate lots of gelato and pasta was her main food source, but she also walked everywhere she went, so it balanced itself out!

One weekend she was able to travel to Florence (or Firenze) and see the Duomo, while another weekend she was able to go to the site of Pompeii and its volcano. Hannah also went to the Amalfi Coast, known for its cliffside communities and the beauty in the coastal area.

Hi! My name is Hannah and I will be your Travel Agent here at Wayward Wanderings Travel Co. A little about me:
- I've been to 10 countries and counting
- My 1st overseas experience was when I was 16
- I've done both solo and group trips before.

There have been 4 specific times that I have gone overseas. The first was on a mission trip, the second was a post-high school graduation celebration, the third was a summer interning abroad, and the last time was a solo trip for myself since Covid canceled my original college spring break trip!

A fun fact about me: I have 2 degrees in International Studies which means that I not only love traveling, but I love learning about different cultures and the history of the places I visit. So, museums, tours, immersive experiences, I've done it all so I can really appreciate the places I am visiting.

I've also traveled my fair share in the United States. From West Coast to East Coast to the Deep South, I've been around both via road trips and flights. Did I mention I lived in New York City for nearly 2 years too? I called both Manhattan and Brooklyn home and loved every second of being there!

Lastly, I'm a Disney kid at heart. Not only am I certified as a Disney Agent, but I'm just a fanatic in general. Disney Princesses, Pixar, Star Wars- I love em all considering I grew up on it and would love to share the magic with kids of all ages! The magic will always be waiting for you at Disney.
