If you are ever in Downtown Tallahassee and craving some soul food, it's a must that you visit this black-owned restaurant JoEllen’s This restaurant is not to be played with and was also recommended by The Hungry Black Man!!! I had the shrimp, wings and catfish and was completely satisfied. Not to mention the atmosphere was great and lively and the food is reasonably priced! Also, one of the owners came out to meet me for a photo and he was quite humble and appreciative!
