A HUGE concern I hear from parents planning a Disney trip is the overstimulation.

They picture all the activity, the crowds, the noise, the visual onslaught and predict frazzled nerves, exhaustion and meltdowns.

The next statement is often: so we think we just want to go for a few days. The idea being that they can only take so much of it.

The problem is, even if you only go for a few days, you still want to do all the things! Which means cramming more activity into longer days. Going Commando, as we call it: rope-drop to fireworks for 3 or 4 days straight.

This, my friends is a recipe for a meltdown.

My top bit of advice for a fun, relaxing, stress-free trip is to stay LONGER. Spread that must do list out over a week and suddenly you have time for afternoons by the pool, sleep-in days, movie nights on the lawn - even entire break days!
