We had planned to watch the fireworks from behind the castle (which I highly recommend everyone try at least once). We found some spots with no one around and while we waited for fireworks to begin, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train reopened after closing for a passing storm. We immediately hopped in line and since we were behind behind the castle already we were some of the first ones on the ride. As soon as the train started making its way up the first hill, the fireworks began. Listening to Happily Ever After while riding Mine Train and watching the fireworks overhead is one of my core Disney memories.
Make all the plans, do all the research, but don’t be afraid to be spontaneous, go with the flow and change the plans if needed. There’s magic in so many unexpected moments.
