If you're heading out East, exploring the North Fork, shopping at the outlets, or visiting the Riverhead Aquarium, you need to stop by Myles on Main!

This gem of a restaurant is perfectly located right across the street from the aquarium, making it a super convenient spot to grab a bite.

We were doing some last-minute year-end shopping and since I had a coupon for 6 free wings in hand and was curios about this new spot that just opened last summer, we thought, “Why not?” We’re always trying to find our next great wing spot. 😋

Let me tell you—it was such a great choice!

The vibe is cozy, the food is downright delicious (those wings and fries were amazing!!), and the service? Absolutely top-notch.

Everyone was so accommodating, kind, and attentive… our waiter was spectacular!

Do yourself a favor:

Come for the wings, stay for all the other dishes on the menu, and soak in the charm of this great little spot.

We’ll definitely be back, and you should definitely give it a try! 🥰

🎄 Here’s to Our First Ever Cut-Your-Own Tree Adventure! 🎄

With just 2 1/2 weeks before Christmas, we knew today was the day to finally experience cutting our own tree as a family.

Sure, we left later than planned, and yes, we detoured for lunch (because no one wanted to go cut the tree while “hangry”), but let me tell you— Shamrock Christmas Tree Farm was so worth the trip!

From the moment we arrived, it felt so welcoming. The staff was amazing—helpful, cheerful, and ready to guide us every step of the way.

Once you pick your tree and pay, they assign you your very own helper to make the process effortless. No back-breaking labor for the adults here—again so worth it!

🌲 Tree Selection: There’s a great variety of sizes and types (Douglas and Fraser firs), and the walk to find the perfect one is easy and kid-friendly. My kids absolutely loved the experience!

🎅 Fun for the Family:
* A train ride for the kids.
* A cozy fire pit for warming up.
* A snack stand to purchase hot chocolate and other treats!
* A gift shop stocked with ornaments (where I snagged my first ornament of the season— I buy one every year!).

Seriously, Shamrock has made this a no-brainer, especially for first-timers like us!

If you're a book lover, you have to check out Ketcham Inn Foundation Book Barn in Center Moriches, Long Island!

I went there with a friend, and let me tell you, they’ve got an incredible collection of used books.

They’ve got everything from Long Island heritage books to children’s stories, classics, and just about every genre you could think of.

Their collection is massive— and every book is so reasonably priced.

Plus, all the funds go toward restoring historic properties on Long Island.

They accept cash, checks, and Venmo. No cards though, so make sure to bring cash or your phone!

This hidden gem is not to be missed!!

I’ll definitely be going back, and I encourage you to pay a visit! 🥰

Some of my absolute favorite moments are when I get to spend time with my girlfriends. 🥰

I feel so lucky that one of my closest college friends came all the way from Albany to visit me, and we had the most amazing weekend together at the cabin. ❤️

We had so much fun:

- Enjoying delicious brick oven pizza at Southpaw Brewing Company,
- Hanging out with adorable alpacas at Red Barn Farm,
- Thrifting on Main Street in Riverhead at Privet’s Consignment Warehouse
- Savoring an authentic Mexican lunch at Taco Bout It,
- Taking a relaxing stroll down Peconic Riverfront Park,
- Indulging in homemade ice cream at Snowflake Ice Cream Shoppe,
- Enjoying a fantastic brunch at Watermark Of Wading River,
- And picking out bunches of fragrant lavender at Lavender By the Bay.

It is truly special over here. If you ever get the chance to visit these favorite spots of mine, you absolutely should! ❤️

How awesome is this?! 🥰

My son got to participate in an infield event at the Long Island Ducks game on his birthday! 🥳

The Ducks game was definitely worth it and should be on everyone's must-visit list during their season.

To top it off, we enjoyed an amazing fireworks show sponsored by Flagstar Bank, which made the night even more special.

He even won box seats, so we're already planning to go again before the season ends.

We’re so sad to hear about the tragic loss at Goodale Farms, Inc. in Aquebogue.

This farm holds a special place in our hearts—memories of visiting with our kids and feeding the animals have filled us with joy.

It breaks our hearts to learn that five beautiful farm animals have passed away because of someone’s carelessness.

Goats and sheep can’t eat everything, and sadly, these animals fell victim to boxwood, which is toxic to them.

We hope the owners of Goodale Farms know how much their farm means to our community. ❤️

It’s such a special place for families and children to connect with nature.

Let’s help them spread awareness about the importance of respecting farm animals and their habitats.

Our thoughts are with the Goodale Family during this incredibly difficult time.

Hands down, it’s brunch at Watermark Of Wading River!

Just got back from a girls' weekend getaway at my cozy cabin, and our Sunday morning tradition is always brunch at Watermark—and as usual, it did not disappoint! It was fantastic!!

The food is consistently delicious, reasonably priced, and the service is top-notch and super friendly!

I highly recommend checking it out if you’re ever in the area. ❤️

Plus, during the week, they have a lunch combo that includes your choice of wine or beer for an incredible price!

Definitely worth a visit. You’ll love it just as much as we do!!
