Our trip leader, ’s says that Humpback Whales are his spirit animals. 🐳

“Spending time in the water with them is life changing… nature is just so beautiful, no one can see something pure like an animal in nature doing its thing and not connect to that to some extent.”

“I went through a period of re-evaluating what I wanted out of life and how I wanted to live day to day. I became a scuba instructor in 2021 and from then on knew the answer to that question was to be in the ocean. Ever since I have been traveling and living all over the world from Hawaii, Honduras, Thailand, Australia, Indonesia and more.”

Photography Tip Tuesday 📸 ⭐

~ Focusing your shots ~

Focusing underwater is HARD! For one, you are floating and constantly moving, there might be a current to kick against, and those goddamn subjects are never staying still! 🦀

How to get around this? Cameras typically rely on contrast to focus on your subjects. Try placing yourself so that your subject has the most contrast possible, making it easier for your camera to focus on it!
