We have dates for our solo travelers trip! October 11-15! We will be staying at Hilton Playa del Carmen. This is an adults only resort and is located minutes away from 5th Ave. Fifth Avenue’s famous dining, shops, and night scene is walking distance from this hotel.

It is $50 per person to secure your reservation. Payments can be made towards your balance at any time. Final payment is due September 10th.

This will be for 4 nights. We will be going on a walking food tour one day and visiting a cenote.

Isabella and I just got back from our cruise on Disney Magic! We sailed to Mexico this time out of Galveston, Texas. Every Disney ship will be different but they all offer the same amazing experiences. My favorite restaurant was Rapunzel’s Royal Table.

So far we have been on the Wish and the Magic🛳️ Next up is the Dream and Wonder.

Now that the holidays are over, now it's time to start planning your vacations.

For families looking for entertainment for all ages, I highly recommend Iberostar Selection Parausi Lindo. This is a great hotel for families looking not to spend a TON in Mexico.

It is located in Riviera Maya, has water slides, lazy river, wave pool. This hotel has 7 restaurants and 10 bars. There are activities throughout the day that can be found on their app.

Throw back Thursday post!

I went to Dominican Republic a LONG time ago! The hotel we stayed at had a beach down the road. We would walk past cows, chickens and dogs on our way there. I loved it! There was hardly anyone at the beach when we went.
I tried surfing on this trip and we did a couple excursions.

These trips were so much fun, so many good memories!

Wrapping up 2024. My travel partner and I had some fun trips that created great memories. We are looking forward to 2025...

Isabella will be going to Mexico for the first time next month. Then Alaska and Hawaii will be both our first time.

I wanted to put together a yearly travel group! This could be for solo travelers or friends that wanted to get away for 3-4 nights.

I would be looking into Mexico specially Playa Del Carmen, early summer 2025 or Fall. We would do a couple excursions on this trip, maybe a food tour and visit a cenote.

This is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and explore Mexico!

Disney's Castaway Cay is beautiful. I loved how it's Disney's private island and only our cruise ship was there. We loved how blue and clear the water is here.

We did a 3 night cruise on the Wish this past February. Food is included on the island and of course unlimited soft serve icecream 😂 Isabella took advantage of that.

We will be trying some of the other Disney ships next year. I look forward to experiencing each of them to be able to share that with my client's.

Nope, very far from rich 😂

Here is how I am able to travel.

We like to place value on experiences vs. material items. For Christmas, Isabella will get maybe 2 gifts from Santa. Or I will ask for gift cards for somewhere to take her.

We go out to eat maybe once a week. When we do it's not anywhere big maybe quick take out. I pack my lunch every day for work.

I do not buy coffee out, I make it at home.

I rarely go shopping, I hate shopping for myself so I don't buy many clothes/ shoes.

Isabella is the hand me down QUEEN! Most of her outfits are from her cousins.

Isabella has a companion pass on Southwest so her flights are FREE!

There are other savings I do throughout the year to be able to afford my trips.

Just thought I would share what works for us.

What does everyone prefer? Personally for me, I find it so easy to save my boarding pass to my phone. If I'm not checking in a bag, I can just go straight to security line.

But I know some people do prefer printing out their boarding pass.

Isabella and I just got back from our stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge and we loved it! We booked the Savannah view room and the view was amazing. I loved being able to see zebras and giraffes right from our balcony.

This is one of my favorite Disney hotels now. I highly recommend it!

In my happy place 💕 One of my favorite parks is Hollywood Studios. Always mid day, I grab a coffee and take it all in.

I have been trying some new things on this trip. We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge which is beautiful!!

I'm also trying out the new Multi pass system. I liked being able to select my rides 7 days before our arrival. Less time on my phone and more time enjoying our day.

A lot of people will say to me " You're going back to Disney again?! Yup that's right!

Every trip I take, I learn something new that can be helpful to a client wanting to visit that destination. Even trying a new restaurant at Disney, clients want to know from experience. This trip I will be using to the new Multi Pass which allows you to book your rides in advance.

Most people don't know this but the commission is already set in your Disney vacation when you book on your own. When you book your trip on your own, you are paying for a travel agent without using one. This applies for many destinations.

I can book all destinations. I have booked destination weddings, all inclusives, cruises and of course Disney.

Disney World or Disney Cruise?

Sorry Disney World, Disney Cruise is the BEST! There is a saying that " Disney World is a trip and Disney Cruise is a vacation". It is VERY true! I felt so relaxed and loved everything about it. Just the kids club alone makes it worth it.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya is a great All Inclusive vacation destination. This hotel has something for every traveler. This hotel is very popular for destination weddings too!

There is always something going on at this hotel with entertainment. The beach is more of a cove so it's great for younger children to play in. There won't be huge waves at this beach, it's very calm. You can go kayaking, paddleboarding or snorkeling.

There are 9 restaurants on site and 5 pools. There is an adults only section here called the "Heaven Hard Rock Riviera Maya".

There are so many hotels in Mexico to stay at. Finding the perfect hotel that fits your travel needs for you and your family is what I do best 😊.

1. Refillable cups! This is important so you can have drinks in your stateroom.

2. Water shoes! This is especially important for the summer months. The upper decks by the pools get hot to walk barefoot.

3. Safe sea sunscreen 🧴- I have heard guests have been stung by jellyfish 🪼. Safe sea sunscreen helps with jellyfish stings and sea lice.

4. Door magnets- This is something fun to do, you can decorate your stateroom door. So many options on Etsy or Amazon.

5. Magnetic hooks- This is helpful to have to hang your clothes or towels on in your room.

6. A lanyard- To put your room key in.

7. Outfits for Pirate Night- if your cruise is after Halloween, go check for sales for pirate costumes after Halloween.

8. Collapsible sand buckets and toys- I found ours on Amazon and this came in handy when we went to the Bahamas.

I love creating memories with my travel partner ❤️

I try to teach Isabella that making memories are more valuable than any toy. Of course there are times where she complains about not getting toys 🤦🏽‍♀️ She asked me the other day " Why do her friends have more toys than her?"

This child does have ALOT of toys that she doesn't even play with. But then couple days later, she forgets about the toy and is on to the next thing.

So for Christmas she will get one gift from Santa then we have a vacation booked as her gift 😎 It doesn't have to be a big trip, it could be a night at a local hotel. Or it could be a gift card to an amusement park or any kid experience.

Isabella and I will be sailing on the Disney Magic this upcoming January! I booked this last minute because it was a great deal!

We will be sailing out of Galveston, Texas and sailing to Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico.

My goal is to sail on all the Disney Cruise line ships. I would like to experience all the ships so I can better serve my clients. Experiencing these ships will allow me to see which ship would be the best fit when families are wanting to book.

All the ships are different but they all have the amazing Disney experience.

Traveling and staying on top of trainings is what I feel makes me a great travel agent.

Here is my reminder again to buy TSA PreCheck! Look at the difference! I had to take this video really fast because there was no line in PreCheck. Now of course, it is not always like this. But I have never waited long in PreCheck. Plus not having to take off your shoes, take out your laptop, toiletries items. It is a game changer!

Last year I did my first solo trip to Sandals Royal Bahamian. This is a perfect spot for anniversaries or honeymoons. I did the solo trip for work to experience this property for clients. My favorite part was their private island. I am a foodie so the food trucks were also my favorite!

Room tour on Disney's Wish, we loved our Verandah room.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets are now on sale. We attended this event last year and it was a lot of fun. This event is at Magic Kingdom and only for guests that purchase this special event ticket. We loved seeing the Halloween parade and filling our bags with candy! Our team sailed on Royal Caribbean Utopia of the Seas this past week! The ship looks amazing and has so many activities for everyone to stay entertained. Utopia of the Seas has 21 dining venues, 23 bars, 3 water slides and 8 hot tubs. Cruising gives you the opportunity to sample different destinations in a short amount of time.

This was our view from our balcony when we were arriving at Castaway Cay. I highly recommend the Verandah rooms! Having access to a balcony was so relaxing. If you are worried about having a balcony with kids, the lock is very high. My daughter is 6 years old and couldn't reach it even when I asked her to try. You can plan ahead and book your cruise for next year or even 2026 dates are open ( Until April 2026). Contact me when you are ready to plan your vacation .
