NATIONAL POPULATION COMMISSION (NPC) is a federal government ministry that is established to help process Nigerians and foreigners birth certificate that were born in Nigeria.
National Population Commission (NPC) was established in 1992 to help process and issues Birth Certificate to Nigerians and Foreigners that were given birth in Nigeria

Birth certificate issued by hospital (public and private)church or mosque are not acceptable as legal birth certificate to be presented as birth certificate in school,embassies,immigration purpose,visa processing or for employment
Nigerians and Foreigners that were born in Nigeria before establishment of NPC in 1992 will obtain birth certificate called ATTESTATION OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE ,which is acceptable as government legal documents.
