Fit4Adventures is run by Chris and Laura, friends from university, who have a shared passion for mountaineering and adventures. We plan and organise UK and international trips in the mountains hopefully enabling more people to experience what the outdoors has to offer.

What a day! Well done Serge (and Chris) for putting a big shift in the mountains last week. The Lakeland 3000s which consists of 82km, summiting the 4 highest peaks in the Lake District, starting and finishing in Keswick.

The aim was to finish in under 24 hours so we were relieved to be back in Keswick after 19hours 47minutes 🔥 Serge even had enough in the tank to finish with a strong 15km run into Keswick.

Serge travelled over from Amsterdam for the challenge, to raise both awareness and money for Multiple Sclerosis Society! Fit4 was honoured to arrange all the logistics and Chris accompanied Serge every step of the way.

Did you know the temperature can drop as much as 1 degree celsius for every 100m ascended? ❄️

Cloud inversion today in Rhône valley 🏔️

Cloud inversions are a fairly common sight in the mountains. They occur when cold air sinks in the valley and condenses into a cloud which then gets trapped below warmer air ☁️☁️
