🌟 Update from Rosarito 🌟
Our group has now moved to the Rosarito campus of Tijuana Christian Mission here in Mexico. Today, I want to share about the incredible children we are here to serve.

Their mission exists solely for the children entrusted to their care. Some come to them through DIF (Mexico’s child protective services), while others are lovingly placed by their parents, often out of necessity.

Among their family, there are children who are true orphans, having lost both parents, and others whose families are still living but unable to provide a safe or stable home due to extreme poverty, abuse, or neglect.

Each child’s story is unique, but they all share one thing in common: they are deeply loved and valued. It is an honor to be part of a mission that seeks to provide not just care, but also hope, healing, and a brighter future for these precious lives.

🌟 Greetings from Tijuana, Mexico! 🌟
I’m here on a mission trip with my church and wanted to share a little about the incredible work being done by Tijuana Christian Mission.

Their vision is simple yet profound: to serve God by serving the most vulnerable children in Mexico. Many of these children come to them from broken homes—or no home at all—and have had to survive on the streets. Through the City of Refuge children’s home, they provide more than just shelter; they offer a loving family environment where they can heal and thrive.

Their family consists of about 70 children and 20 amazing staff members (or “parents”), who work tirelessly to care for the children’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

This mission is a true testament to the power of love and faith in action. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers as we continue to serve these precious lives! ❤️

I'm a mom of a 16 year old teen and 21 year old college student at Ohio state University. Oh and I have a gluten intolerance so I MUST eat gluten free all times, especially while traveling.
