It's like stepping into a history book, but with fewer dusty pages and more sunscreen. And yes, sunscreen is the real MVP of any vacation – just ask your sunburn from that one time in Mexico.

We're contemplating a rendezvous with the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand in either March or October of next year. I started a YouTube channel on January 1st, 2020. I wanted to use it to help promote my travel business. I knew that it was just a supplementary way to share travel news, my travels and tips for traveling.

Here's the boring bit, yet it is exciting to me, so I'll share it.

2020: 2914 views and 84 subscribers
2021: 2243 views and 14 new subscribers (what a let-down)
2022: 35,455 views and 106 new subscribers
2023: 158,889 views and 353 new subscribers

Here is the good news. We are less than two months into 2024 and here are the numbers.

2024: 108,411 views and 190 new subscribers.

I am hopeful that it will help to build the business even more. I've really enjoyed the creative process.
