This Freeland vacation home is on the beach, 0.1 mi (0.2 km) from Holmes Harbor, and within 6 mi (10 km) of Goss Lake and Mutiny Bay. Double Bluff Beach and South Whidbey Harbor at Langley are also within 9 mi (15 km).

THE BEST!

This house lived up to the description and so much more! Beautiful house in terrific location steps from the water on a lovely large lot. The indoor and outdoor spaces are all thoughtfully designed. The layout of the house was so perfect for our family as we spent the long weekend preparing for and celebrating our daughter's wedding at Wayfarer on the island. The hosts are so kind, prompt and thoughtful in their communication and they have thought of absolutely everything you might possibly need. This place would suit a family with young children, a bunch of friends looking for a fun getaway or, like us, a family of adults. Such a cozy and inviting place in every regard.....we will be back!

We are open for business! After a brief pause to honor our state’s Stay Home/Stay Healthy mandate, Island County is now open for business.

We probably all need a getaway. Come enjoy this light filled home with expansive windows, stretch your legs in the huge yard perfect for both adult and kid entertainment, hang in the hammock, and spread out through the house with two sitting rooms, spacious kitchen, 3 bedrooms (up and downstairs) and 2 baths.

This house has contactless check in and check out, follows rigorous cleaning and disinfecting protocols recommended by the CDC and WHO, and allows up to 48 hours between guests.

This is my second time staying in this home, first with the new owners. Suzy was wonderful, communicative, and answered all my questions. Check-in was a breeze! Things I love about the property: super close to the community beach, beautiful wood burning fireplace, and those windows and the views are unforgettable. We will definitely be back! "BEAUTIFUL, SERENE, WELL-APPOINTED AND CLEAN!
We stayed here for a girlfriends' weekend - and all five of us loved it! It's clear that (the owners) love this home; it has everything you need and is beautifully decorated and furnished, right down to the last detail, like luxurious hand soap and beautiful mugs. We cooked meals, relaxed, enjoyed happy hour on the deck, slept comfortably, and LOVED making s'mores by the fire pit on our last night. The view of the water, mountains, and sunset is absolutely stunning. We also enjoyed visits from bunnies and a family of deer - what a wonderful surprise! You truly feel like a welcome guest in this beautiful home. Thank you...we will be back!"

There are so many great places to eat on the Island, particularly in the cooler months. Saltwater Fish and Oyster Bar is a perfect place to step in from the cold for a yummy lunch of great seafood and a nice glass of wine or ice cold beer. Only 10 minutes from the vacation rental!
