Disney's Hilton Head Resort is truly remarkable. I had the pleasure of staying here last summer and was treated to a very unique side of Disney.

Located in South Carolina about an hour north of Savannah is where you will find this amazing resort. Nestled amongst sprawling oak trees you'll find smaller buildings with a variety of accommodations, lawn games, BBQ's/picnic areas, community center with a lovely pool, quick service restaurant & souvenir store and gorgeous marsh views. And of course we can't forget the Disney touches sprinkled in. Take a walk through the resort and find adorable topiaries like Bambi and Thumper! You can also take the complimentary shuttle over from the main property to their beach house where you will find a quick service restaurant, pool & beach access.

Imagine sitting pool or beachside, hundreds of miles away from Orlando and enjoying a Dole Whip or Mickey Pretzel!?! It truly is a spectacular resort and one that I highly recommend trying!

✨🪄The wand chooses the wizard, you know, and everything about visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is like stepping straight into the movies and books - even the wands! Here are a few helpful tips for aspiring wizards to know before hitting these areas of both parks:

🪄⚡ Interactive vs Standard Wands: Not all wands are created equally so be sure to choose wisely based on what you want to do. Interactive wands are pricier but there are lots of spell locations throughout both parks (marked by medallions on the ground) where you can put your wizarding skills to the test.

Ollivanders Wand Shop: For the serious fans, this is a special place. Small groups are taken into the shop and a lucky one will be chosen to go through a wand selection. Even if you aren’t chosen, you will find wands for all the beloved (and villainous) characters. 🐍⚡

🗺️🪄 Spell Locations: There are more than 20 areas through the Wizarding World where you can test out your skills with an interactive wand, which comes with a map of spell locations. A word of warning, many of these are tough to get just right 😅 so don’t get discouraged. There are usually Team Members around to help if you need a little extra assistance.

Now Open: Universal Stella Nova Resort!

It is getting fantastic buzz and looks fantastic! This is a Prime Value resort offering a very affordable price point. Located off main property but very close proximity to Universal's Epic Universe you will be taking the bus to get to Universal, Islands of Adventure and CityWalk but it will be just a 10 minute walk to Epic once that opens.

Stella Nova has just standard rooms with 2 queen beds and can fit up to 4 guests. 56% of their rooms are connecting for families and groups that need more space.

2 for me. I can’t believe I still haven’t officially gone to MVMCP. I visited at Christmastime 2020 when crowds were tiny but no party. I’ve also never put Disney decorations in my car.
