JUNE 2022.
The Cooktown Discovery Festival runs from 17 – 19 of June 2022 and is a festival that highlights the area’s rich history both Indigenous peoples and early settlement of the 1800.s, along with the history of James Cook and his crew beaching the endeavour for repairs, at the same location in 1770.
There are many events, cultural and local craft workshops, market stalls, and even guided tours to experience, including the Cooks Landing and Reconciliation re-enactments, street parade, and fireworks display.

MAY 2022

Vivid Sydney 2022 commences on May 27 running until June 18, and is a light festival that brings together some amazing displays and visual effects that incorporate the buildings an infra structure across the city harbour area, creating an unforgettable experience.
