I know I don't tend to talk real life issues here but I need to speak up about something.

It's monarchy and history related so feel free to skip this post.

Hundreds of years ago the English monarchy took the stone of destiny, the throne upon which all Scottish monarchs were crowned.

It was then placed in a special compartment beneath the English throne to try and delegitimize the Scottish Monarchy as it was below England's throne.

Fast forward it was stolen in modern ages by Pro-Independence students, it was later returned to England who then gave it back to Scotland.

The whole coronation in modern age is a farce, what's worse to me is they have taken the stone of destiny back to England to put below the English throne for the coronation as a sign of the union and his right to rule. No. That in my opinion shows utter disdain for a country Charles supposedly loves.

One thing I hope they pick up in Ahsoka that IMO would have improved Rebels is not having Thrawn always tell us the good guys escaping is part of his plan.

When the Heroes get away spectacularly just show him being all menacing, maybe a sly smirk. That way if keeps us guessing is it all part of the plan? Did Thrawn make a mistake but it works for him?

Way more menacing IMO.

So as a fan of the NJO and the Yuuzhan Vong one theory I often come upon is Palpatine formed the Empire to fight the Vong.

I mean two things contradict this.

Palpatine was shown to be power hungry long before he knew off the Vong

And most importantly he ruled through fear. The fear of an unknown enemy, if Palpatine had managed to inform the galaxy about them, would have easily helped bring the Galaxy together. If anything had the Vong shown up and Palpatine was still Emperor it would have made the Empire stronger

Think it was Bo-Katan-Core who talked about Gideon removing his helmet with one hand as a sign of disrespect. I also feel it was to show his strength since those helmets are pressure sealed.
