Icon Of The Seas Royal Caribbean’s newest and largest cruise ship arrived in the Port of Miami earlier today!

Icon's Maiden Voyage is on January 27, 2024!

Starting with visits on January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets. A date-based ticket is a ticket that requires you to choose a start date when you purchase. Other admission types will still require theme park reservations. See list below for more information.

No Theme Park Reservation Required:
-Date-based 1-day ticket
-Date-based multi-day ticket
-Vacation package with date-based tickets

Theme Park Reservation Required:
-Student group tickets
-Sport and Convention ticket
-Disney Military Salute Ticket
-Annual Pass
-All other ticket types not mentioned above

Also beginning January 9, 2024, Guests with a ticket with the Park Hopper option or Annual Pass holders will be able to visit another theme park at any time of day during park hours.

With the updated Park Hopper experience, Guests must make a theme park reservation for the first park they plan to visit AND enter that first park. Once they have done that they may hop to another park.

*Please note that park hopping is subject to capacity.

Begining today the age ranges for the Disney Cruise Line youth clubs/activites has changed based on guest feedback. You can find all the updates below.

The age range for Disney’s Oceaneer Club will change from 3 to 12 years old to 3 to 10 years of age.

The age range for Edge will now be for 11 to 14 year olds.

The age range for Vibe will continue to provide Guests ages 14 to 17 with their own special place where they can connect with other teens.

During our youth activities Open House times, Guests of all ages are still permitted in to look around all these locations, including Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Disney’s Oceaneer Lab, Edge and Vibe.

Also new beginning today guests with children 11 and 12 years old no longer need to complete youth activities registration as part of Online Check-in for these children.

Yes that's right a stage show is finally returing to the Animation Courtyard theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Disney has announed that a new stage show called The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure is set to open in Fall 2024 inside the newly refreshed Animation Courtyard theater. This new show will replace the old show that used to play inside the thearter Voyage Of The Little Mermaid.

The new show will tell the tale of the 1989 animated film The Little Mermaid. The new show will feature musical numbers inspired by the film including “Part of Your World,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and so much more. The show is set to feature stunning new set pieces, cutting-edge effects, and a bold new design that will have everyone flapping their fins!

Set to open in January 2024 is Hideaway Beach. Hideaway Beach is set to located at Royal Caribbean’s private island Perfect Day At Cococay. Hideaway Beach will have lots of different areas within it.

Hideaway Beach – From end to end is over an acre of The Bahamas’ white sand beaches and turquoise waters exclusive to Hideaway Beach guests. Vacationers can enjoy the beachfront views and breeze at any one of the resort-style loungers and umbrellas along the shore or on the in-water hammocks and swings while playing beach games and listening to the beats of the live
DJ by the pool.

Hideaway Pool – Partygoers can turn up the volume on the celebration with all-day tunes from the DJ and the lively swim-up bar at the center of the action. With in-water seating and loungers, and poolside loungers throughout the heated infinity-edge pool, every spot is also the best seat in the house to take in the picture-perfect views.

Hideaway Cabanas – Just steps away from the party, vacationers can level up their day in paradise at 10 chic poolside cabanas that have a range of amenities like cabana attendant
service at the push of a call button, a mini-fridge, floating beach mats and charging outlets.

The Hideout – This nook at one end of Hideaway Beach is just close enough to the buzz but
carves out an exclusive, elevated experience. In one of 10 Hideout Cabanas, those looking for a
more VIP, chill vibe can kick back at a heated infinity plunge pool – exclusive to The Hideout
guests – and enjoy the convenience of perks like cabana attendant service, in-water loungers, an
outdoor shower and resort-style seating.

Hideaway Beach is set to open in January 2024 and will cost an additional fee to enter. The area is also 18+.

The Disney Treasure has reached yet another milestone in construction – the completion of its last block! In case you’re not familiar with this maritime milestone, it’s important to know that cruise ships are built in blocks (sections). With the last block in place, this means that the ship is now structurally complete and outfitting work can begin.

The last block on the Disney Treasure will eventually house areas such as the adults-only Quiet Cove area (including Cove Café) and Hero Zone, a futuristic sports arena where physical activity blends with imagination, offering highly produced show experiences in addition to free-play sports.

The Disney Treasure is set to sail on its maiden voyage in just over a year!

Today, Universal Orlando Resort announced the addition of two new hotels coming to the resort. The two new hotels will be co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co.

The two new resorts will be called Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort will each feature 750 guest rooms and will be placed in the resort’s Prime Value category. They are both slated to open in early 2025.

The new hotel options will be open for stays stays beginning January 2025 at Universal Stella Nova Resort and February 2025 at Universal Terra Luna Resort.

Featuring tranquil accommodations, Universal Stella Nova Resort is inspired by distant galaxies, new stars and mysterious black holes, while Universal Terra Luna Resort is inspired by the massive and diverse planetary elements of the universe.

Guests staying at the new hotels can take advantage of exclusive theme park benefits – including Early Park Admission, allowing guests to access one of the three amazing theme parks up to an hour before park opening, complimentary transportation to and from the parks, resort-wide charging privileges, and more.

Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort will be located adjacent to the future site of the new Universal Epic Universe theme park, which will open at a later date in 2025.
