Day 3 Amsterdam - Final Day

After another long fulfilling day yesterday, I am now on the final leg of my trip .

Last night we had a 6 course meal - yep 6 courses ! After dinner was more chilled than the night before, a couple of drinks than bed , no dancing !!

This morning I will be visiting 6 ships than off to the Airport for my flight home .

3 full days of learning , experience , fun and good company. Our hosts from CLIA and all the ships have worked exceptionally hard to keep us on time on a tight full schedule, it must have been a logistical nightmare but everything ran to time, we have been well fed, well entertained and well educated, so thank you to everyone involved in the running of this conference.

I am now looking forward to the Ocean conference in May in Southampton

Day 2 Amsterdam River Conference - Afternoon.

Well that was a long afternoon, started at 12 with a stunning lunch courtesy of AMA Serena. Then I visited 5 ships and was given a full tour of the following :

AMA Serena, Amadeus Cara, Emerald Dawn , Riverside Debussy, and lastly A-Rosa Sena. Great opportunity to see the rooms, restaurants, sun decks and swimming pools etc. Many steps walked, many flights of stairs climbed and many glasses of champagne drunk 🥴.

Now boarded Nicki Spirit and having a few minutes “me” time , before a welcome reception , dinner and a few drinks.
