Don’t make the same mistake I did the other day! After returning to the US I went through Global Entry, easy. While waiting for my luggage a little beagle, so cute, made a beeline for my carry on bag, how funny and still cute. 🐾
That little beagle sniffed out a forgotten banana in my bag. This led to an orange slip being filled out and then an extra 35 minutes getting through another ag check. Lesson learned! 🍌

Before embarking on my Tauck River Cruise, I’ll be visiting in London- one of my favorite stays in one of my favorite cities. The Milestone staff ensure every guest’s comfort and needs are tended to. There’s a reason I keep coming back!
Ps. This amazing hotel has a special place in my heart as they helped us celebrate my husband’s retirement in 2019 with a fantastic private party🥂🎉

You may be like me and have a love-hate thing with social media. 😑 But, I do love it when fun things work out!
I follow so during our recent stay at Ashford Castle I sent Paula a message and was beyond excited when she invited me into the castle’s kitchens and then into her chocolate sanctuary - a little room where the creating takes place. Using Valhrona exclusively, Paula created Ashford’s signature chocolate, Legends. Talented girl, that Paula!

If you’re flying on easyJet remember a couple of things ~ buy tickets ahead for better pricing and pay for your checked luggage online before you go. And pay attention to the weight limits!!

My group is loving our stay here in Edinburgh. Perfect location, quaint, fantastic service from the nicest crew, 2 fabulous restaurants (one a Michelin star), bikes to use.
I booked their rooms so all received a good size hotel credit as well as full breakfast.

My group of clients enjoyed a fantastic dinner in the hotel this evening using the hotel credit I was able to secure for them. So nice to enjoy a wonderful meal and not have to pay for it!
Oh, did I mention they also enjoyed a comped breakfast everyday?🍳🥞

You may have heard of premium economy, a fairly new class of service (mostly on international routes) on many airlines. It’s usually a little section between economy and business ~ each airline has come up with their their own name for it.
These seats are becoming quite popular! So, if you don’t want to shell out for business class take a look at these pictures to see if these seats might be for you.

And no corkage fees! On Viking Ocean Cruises you’ll find clean lines with Scandinavian decor on their 8 ships. Being one of the most popular cruise lines around means I have to book my clients early! Of course, I always try to throw in extra onboard credit 💵.

Ever boarded a train in Italy or has it been quite sometime since you have?
You may buy tickets online or do like me and buy once there at a ticket office (very helpful) or machine.
Once you have a ticket make sure you go to the little machine nearby or at the track, and insert ticket to get it stamped/validated. Before boarding the train! 🇮🇹🚆

Italy is ready to welcome you!
Jumped on a flight bound for Milan and then a train down to Florence. Not complicated and an easy entry. The sole purpose of my trip was to gain knowledge I can use when planning Now Departing Travel client trips in Italy. Ok, had some fun while working 😍
It takes a few hours to drive from Florence to Rome but I took a week to make this journey in order to visit villas, wineries, villages and hotels along the way. Oh yeah, tasted quite a bit of food, too!
Nothing like seeing/experiencing it all for myself ~ this helps so much when I plan a vacation for YOU.
